I purchased a product on eBay, got a notification email re tracking a package. Received package but seller had not paid the correct postage. My post office did not charge me the amount but asked me to contact the seller to notify them. When I went into my eBay, the product did not show in my purchases and not even in my recent views. Also I go to the notification bell and it says "We ran into a problem and can't show your notifications right now." That has been happening for 2 days.
Any suggestions. At least I got what I ordered but why doesn' t it show on my account? Someone suggested it was a scam and the seller has possibly closed their account knowing they didn't pay the correct postage, but shouldn't it still show on my purchases. the notification email was on 16th April 26.

There have been a LOT of issues in a LOT of areas in eBay for the past two days
The seller cannot close their own account so soon after a sale, so whoever it was that suggested that obviously does not know eBay basics. eBat *may* have closed the account if they are a scammer, but that is doubtful since eBay support scammer sellers
Did you buy on this account or as a guest?
Have you changed the date in the drop down menu in your purchase history?
What was the item number?

What is the item number ?
As Sandy's already mentioned, eBay happily supports scammer sellers but on the extremely rare chance that the seller's account has been closed by eBay, the item will generally be removed from your Purchase History.
If that's happened, the top of their feedback page will show 'Not a registered user"

If the sender has not been billed direct by AP, then there is no point you doing anything, as the extra charge is to be collected from the recipient prior to the parcel being delivered.
