How to get in touch with eBay
You can contact eBay Customer Service in the following ways:
There is no "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the page. I have looked everywhere.
Doe eBay even have technical support? Or are they so cheap they have to rely on other members to do it for them?
Every time I try to list an item something goes wrong and I don't know the reason why. This is very frustrating.

Yes, fellow members here do give a lot more help advice and support than eBay staff ever have
They even have a blurb on here that tech staff regularly check here for issues
Not true
Live Chat is the only option for eBay at the moment, it is under ‘help’ at the top or bottom of each page
Have you managed to put up any listings so far? (There can be up to a 24 hour delay before they are visible)
If you have, Have you already listed ten items?

Thank you so much for replying. No, I still can't list anything. It keeps saying "Request higher selling limits" but when I check My eBay I have a selling limit of 10 items per month – which I still havem becausde I have not even listed anything. So I don't know why this is happening.
And thank you for pointing out that the only "Help" option is chat – which was not working when I posted last night.
I think it's shameful that a multi-billion dollar corporation like eBay can't even provide technical support and has to rely on volunteers.

Yep, it's shocking.
eBay obviously should have their call centres fully-manned. Of course, that would mean breaching ALL COVID-19 social distancing restrictions in the jurisdiction the call centre is located in, thus probably resulting in deaths, but, hey, that shouldn't affect you, should it?
Is the item you're trying to list expensive? The listing restriction for new sellers is dollar as well as quantity restricted.
Online chat is available during specified hours, which you will be advised of when you try it. Late at night isn't supported.
From the page -
We're available from 8am to 8pm AET Monday to Friday, and 9am to 7pm AET Saturday and Sunday.

Wow! I didn't know CV19 had been around since 1995 when eBay was first launched! What a convenient excuse for not providing tech support!
And to think, other companies actually have the technology to route call-centre calls to people working from home. – anywhere in the world! But not eBay! No, according to davewil1964, CV19 has come to the rescue of eBay's corporate damsels in distress like a knight in a shining surgical mask, giving them the ultimate excuse for not providing a service that almost every other company on earth provides – tech support!

I would hazard a guess that you haven't tried to contact Telstra and get a human being on line recently...........

I take it you haven't tried either. At least with Telstra you can get to talk to a human being (eventually). eBay doesn't even have a phone number.
Besides, Telstra's shortcomings are no excuse for eBay's, are they?

I have in fact tried both recently, or I wouldn't bring it up here. As you have already been told eBay's CS phone lines are run from the Phillipines and they are not allowed to operate due to COVID-19.
"Besides, Telstra's shortcomings are no excuse for eBay's, are they?"
You were the one that quoted :-
"......giving them the ultimate excuse for not providing a service that almost every other company on earth provides – tech support!"
I was simply showing you that 2 out of 2 CS systems I've had to use recently most certainly do not provide meaningful Tech Support.

eBay has a call centre? Where is the number? I even Googled it and could find no reference to an eBay contact number. What was the number before Covid? And how do you guys know there is a call centre in the Philippines that services Australia?
So, all arguments aside, the fact remains that if you go to this link: https://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Technical-Issues/How-do-I-contact-eBay/m-p/2348467#M5229
. . . you will see there is a line mid-way down the page that says:

If anyone can find a button that says "Contact Us" at the bottom of that page, would you mind posting a screenshot? I mentioned this in my very first post – I'm not sure if anyone read it – but when I look at that page, there is no "Contact us" button.
I suspect the reason is because the page is wrong.

I suspect the reason is because you may have been looking for the option in the middle of the night. The contact option is only there at certain times. Not the middle of the night.
Available times are 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 7pm Saturday and Sunday. Times are Eastern Standard Time.
When you click on chat with us, it will want you to give a reason for contact. Select any option. I really doesn't matter. Current wait time right now is saying 1 minute.
