I belive it is an ebay glitch across the Australian ebay pages
The lowest standard Auspost service is $9.70 up to 250gr
Buyers pay on some of my items (individually or combined) up to 250gr for $8.73 (97cents less)
$8.73 is the ebay discounted label price which offered to sellers if they want to purchase the label from eBay.
The listings and the checkout screens should show buyers $9.70
I searched on ebay and saw some sellers having the same issue..tons of listings with incorrect $8.73 postage
I belive the listings with calculated postage having this issue.

When you request to speak to an agent, you should get two options - one is request a call back and the other is chat to an agent

Ok. I contacted them again on a different Id. For what it's worth (probably not much) this is what I was told:
'The issue you are facing right now is related to the introduction of discounted Au post rates since 7 Nov,2025. A temporary tech issue is causing additional postage costs to appear for the sellers in eBay.'
And
'The postage service not showing is also a technical issue and has already highlighted by the team.'

Yes. I think everyone would have.
I have a question though, If an item sells with the AP postage cost and then you use an ebay Ap label, does ebay refund the difference in fees between the 2? bet they haven't though about that. 😡

My listings are showing the correct price, so your research certainly doesn't include everybody.
I use AP and flat rate postage. No problems.

It's because you're using flat rate postage. That isn't being affected, so far. But for any of us who use calculated, it's horrendous, as is the 'Pick up only' glitch

My point exactly.
I am not prepared to expose myself to the vagaries of eBay, nor allow them to run my business.
A lot of complainants have stated they use AP but don't set their listings up to reflect that...

It's easy to use flat rates for selling books. Not so easy for a lot of things that others sell.

It would appear that they've been fiddling yet again. Now the costs for calculated postage are too low!
And the postage options available have changed. No options for anyone who wants to use AP usual prices and get a postage discount through their My Post Business account or use AP at a PO for any other reason.

Well as I put a fixed postage on all of my items, I am not so concerned with what is shown to buyers.
But earlier this week, I printed off an ebay label for an XS ebay package, but said Aus Post and I was charged $9.50? Do I need to get on to ebay for a refund.
Thanks all.
