My Listings are hidden unless buyer searches 150km within my postcode!

My listing in Australia is being hidden from people in Australia.

To see it they have to choose the search option "search within150km of 5606".

My eBay item number is 293425261027

People should be able to search "Minelab Equinox" and have it come up but it is not showing at all with these search words.

These words are crucial for people to find my item.

I have tried talking to eBay help via chat but they said they could see my listing and had no idea.

I assume they are overseas as when searching from non Australian eBay my listing shows using those search words.

I have even tried canceling my listings and then relisting but the same thing happens!

Thanks again for the advice, I have changed the wording and will see what happens.

It just seems strange that I had no problems for months and it is now an issue.

Maybe they are trying to force me to have a store but I only have this one item.

I had wondered if someone (competitor ?)  had complained about the items being termed minelab, when they are not actually a minelab manufactured accessory, or if it could be a trademark type problem and ebay are hiding the term minelab in your listings, not that ebay will admit to that, just that there seems to be some peculiararities in successful search terms for your items.  From memory they were also showing under Equinox 600

Yes, I certainly feel that I am intentionally being blocked.

Someone who has copied my idea and selling at a higher price (ebay makes more money) have their wording the same and no issues!

People are often suspicious of lower prices so you'll often get more sales if they're dearer. I honestly can't see that ebay would be deliberately blocking your sales because of others reporting you. If they reported you and had a valid case ebay would remove your listings altogether. I think it's more likely to be just one of the anomalies of the system, so you need to experiment by changing things around and see if it makes a difference.

Maybe ebay is being ebay and hiding your listings because you are listing the item as Minelab but it is not that brand.  It is an item made by you to fit a Minelab product.

I am surprised that the listing has not been removed completely.

It could be being reported by other members or by Minelab themselves under the VERO program.

I have just given up and canceled my listings, I will look for other ways to sell my items via Facebook etc.
