This thread is to discuss with other eBay members the **Changes to meet buyer demand on eBay.com.au** announcement made on 26/07/2011.

These changes include:
· Changes to fees on eBay.com.au
· Introduction of eBay Top Rated Sellers

If you opt out of the Power Seller program you qualify for the 30 free listings. I checked this out with Live Help a while ago. I will be opting out of the PS program closer to DDay.
BTW it is easy to change your mind and opt back in.

Well, that's interesting because I tried to list and it wouldn't let me and when I went to live help that's when the told me that I didn't qualify. Maybe things have changed since then, but I definitely was told I couldn't take advantage of the 30 listings

The changes do not come into effect until Sept 22.

hey! you just gave me a great idea .. !! maybe ebay could charge us 5c each , to ask a pink a question?

I know you can pay a small fee on a site somewhere if you want a veterinary question answered :-p..

Gawd you are voluntarily offering ebay money?? The pinks (RIP) were never worth 5c. They gave their advice freely... a little too freely at times. But the regular boardies did, and do, hold a collective wisdom about Ebay Law, Culture and Dreaming than a mere Pink could ever aspire to. Hence Ebay retrenched them because they at least recognise that offering a service that can't compete with the community service already provided is just over indulgence.

We opted out of the PS program about 3 weeks ago, a week later we were automatically back in.........try again!..........maybe it is the Hotel California.........

I have a question about listing the same item in 2 categories, if I list 15 items in 2 categories does that count as 30 items?

Can you please tell me if there are any real advantages of being a Featured Store as opposed to a Regular Store. I have about 150 items listed BIN. Any advice appreciated.
