Ebay should link to the explanation of how this is managed by paypal. not many people would understand this nor find it easy to figure out what to change in paypal. I am a professional working in IT and it took me three very angry days to figure this out after accidentally pressing yes to the silly thing. Easy to opt in, impossible to opt out.

Of course you checked back through all posts over the 5 or more years and checked out how many posters are still posting on eBay, what their general posting styles are/were, whether or not they actually provided an answer to the original question, or bumped the thread to add nothing to the discussion...
