So how do I report someone who was obviously using a sniping app/program?
I was bidding on something, went down to the last few minutes, I was the highest bidder then with literally 1 second to go the bids jump to just over my highest, so unless this "person" ( I don't consider them people) has impeccable timing, I call bulls**t.
When ever I bid on stuff as soon as someone goes over my highest bid I get a notice, this never happened, so the only conclusion is them sniping, and any responses I see saying otherwise will be ignored.
So ebay, why do you let scum like this use your service, they should be banned for life for being who can't be content with being like the rest of us and instead make me and others want to do bodily harm to them.
So fix this, it isn't fair on people, I know you don't care, you get your money either way, but come one, you letting "people" do this is why so many people are leaving ebay, or not using the bidding system.

I manually sniped several auctions last night. One I didn't win because the underbidder must have had a higher bid in early. I bid using my phone. I had the amount I wanted to bid sitting there on the screen. When the counter was down to 3 seconds, I submitted the bid. I don't need a program, that's how I do it. If the OP has an issue with me doing that, too bad. It's my choice to bid in the last few seconds and majority of the time, it pays off. I am not breaking any rules. Nowhere, anywhere, does it say you can't place a bid in the last few seconds, because it's unfair on bidders who decide to bid early.
I refuse to bid early because it seems to force the other bidders to bid higher if they really want it. By me waiting the last few seconds, they don't have time to increase their bid. It also means I often pay less than I'd planned because no one has time to bid to bump me up to the max bid I put in. One item last night I got for $50 less than my max bid. If something is finishing in the middle of the night, or while I'm at work I put in an early bid. 9 times out of 10 I don't win those auctions. It still makes the eventual winner pay more than they would have had I not bid.

I'd say your replies are not being *posted* due to explicit content picked up by the bots!!

Why report when ebay give you the snioper app to use. Hahahahaha
It not nice to loose. Dust yourself off and try again or get a ebay snipper bot.

Why bump a FOUR YEAR OLD thread to add your unsuccessful attempt at humour? I certainly hope your SNIPING is more successful than your humour or spelling.

This is relevant to a four-year-old thread about eBay how? Which is when this thread was relevant and when the member you are replying to posted.
I used to be a member of a site that trialled it, and it was overwhelmingly rejected by the members. Not eBay, obviously, as they took on-board member feedback.
Very few listings on eBay are auctions these days, so the issue is minor. And what your work does is nothing to do with how eBay operates.
Thank you for not adding to the sum of knowledge.
