How do I get this item removed? the seller has told me they cannot deliver to my postcode, so there is another reason to have the item taken off. What do I do??
Thanks.

Have you considered contacting the seller & requesting a cancellation?
I have to ask... if you are interested in the item why not pay for it?
You could always list the item on eBay...very character building dealing with trigger happy buyers.

Only the seller can cancel and they have already been charged fees to their account.
A seller is not obligated to cancel but you could ask.
If the seller is agreeable then make sure to accept the cancellation if need be,
Otherwise the seller may open an unpaid case against you if they choose which is not good for your account.

If the seller told you they cannot delivery to your address (so I assume you don't live in a delivery area, or the item cannot be sent to your state due to quarantine rules) (otherwise they must not have buyer blocks in place to stop people in areas they don't send to buying in the first place .... I am surprised they did not already cancel due to a problem with your address after you 'accidently' bought the item
Otherwise you can't get the item removed, however, if the seller is not able to send it to you anyway, they,in that case, are unlikely to open an unpaid item dispute so you won't need to worry about getting a strike

Have you paid? If so, that would make it two 'accidents'.
If the seller won't deliver to your postcode, it is either an item subject to quarantine or they are using couriers.

I can understand someone perhaps hitting the "Buy It Now" button in error, but never understand them also accidentally hitting the "Commit To Buy" button when the next screen loads.

Or PAY NOW if the item is immediate payment. Even if the OP is using the app, it's still no excuse. Scrolling (or swiping, whatever you like to call it), doesn't come anywhere near the buy button, then the commit button.

But Tippy, the OP's seller will not post to his address.
I don't see what the problem is......the OP should not be able to pay if the seller does not post to his address. If he has managed to pay the seller should just refund and be done with it.

I don't think they paid.
Hope the seller opens an UPI

Why should the seller open a UPI stawks if he will not post to the buyer's address?
If the buyer does pay he has a right to expect the seller to actually send the item.
It would be better for the seller to cancel with the reason that there is something wrong with the buyer's address.
