Hello everyone.
How can I get refund?
The status in the ebay system shows Delivered, but far late after expected time frame and if you look the tracking history after "Delivery" statement it continues and end up with "Returned to Sender"
I bought and paid an item.
The auction was clearly written " Delivery: Estimated within 4-8 business days". The email I got also have Estimated delivery time frame.
But seller shipped the item on the last day of the written time frame.
Very long after all time frames the item arrived on the address and was immediately Returned to Sender because the address is not actual any more. No one have signed that "Delivery", package just have been returned to sender
However, ebay page shows Delivered but if you open the tracking history after the record Delivered, tracking continues with Returned to Sender in few more records showing that
Now the seller have both, the item and the money and refusing refund.
I opened ebay case "Item not received" to get refund . The seller refuse and no communication. If I escalate the case will I get refund? What can I do to get refund?

Can you post the item number?
We only have your word for the seller's handling time. Also, how did you fund your payment? As Jensmanchester has said....if it was an echeque it could have taken a few days to clear.

Lyndal - I think it is item 301570512965. Unless the seller and buyer are in the same state then it would have had to be sent within a few days of the auction ending. There was also easter breaks in the middle.

is it the headphones? they were purchased on the sun 29th march the sellers handling time says
Will usually send within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment
then it says
Standard Postage (Australia Post Parcel Post Parcel)
Estimated within 4-8 business days
then the fine print under that says
* Estimated delivery dates
include seller's handling time, origin ZIP Code, destination ZIP Code and time of acceptance and will depend on shipping service selected and receipt of cleared payment
Delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods.

i must be old fashioned but when a person changes address they normaly have there post redirected ,or if i brought a parcel with only lets say a week to go before shifting ,i would of least contacted the seller ,and ask if he could sent it as soon as possible ,because i will be shifting or if thats not posible ,then send it a week later to my new address.

exclude easter public holidays they were 2 days only.
Just count WORKING BUSINESS DAYS and in term in business days was shiped after many WORKING BUSINESS DAYS. Not between 1-3 business days as the seller have put in the auction when he created.
Shipped after 2 weeks (can be seen on the tracking provided) when it was the last day of estimated delivery it was shipped and came very long after when I moved.
On the SAME TRACKING that seller provided can be seen that the package have came to the address and then is returned back to sender because I dont live on the address. So now the seller have the item and the money

tracking number or item number?
your options are:
open am item not received dispute, you will most likely lose. or
message the seller apologize for your moving and not allowing enough time, ask if seller will resend if you pay extra shipping.

Can you please tell us the date, from the tracking, that the parcel was delivered and returned to sender?
Also, how did you pay for this?
