There was a young man who said, "God
Must think it exceedingly odd
If he finds that this tree
Continues to be
When there's no one about in the Quad."
REPLY
Dear Sir:
Your astonishment's odd:
I am always about in the Quad.
And that's why the tree
Will continue to be,
Since observed by
Yours faithfully,
GOD.

The observations of quantum physicists suggest that "matter has a tendency to exist". It's a bit like the Bhuddist claim that the nature of existence is illusiory.
There was a young Bhuddist named Om
Who said that "this cake is just wrong.
It's not really here. To the texts I adhere"
His Sifu just took it and . . .
Glom. 🙂

As a practicing Buddhist for over 13 years I thought I had come close to understanding the 'meaning of life'. Then I realised I knew absolutely nothing. I have more questions than answers. In fact .. I don't have any answers. I cringe when I think how much I thought I knew.
Does this mean I'm more awake now? And if so, what is it that I'm actually awake to? And if not, then what is the point of living an illusory existence? Maybe there is no point?
I need to go lay down.
