Sorry to go on, but how does the so called government of our country allow this ? Do they not have access to all the relevant figures from the corporations and the ability to see that the jobkeeper offers were for smaller businesses that needed it, and for the employees who suffered from shorter [or in my sons case - hospitality] - NO hours or less hours. That's it Rant over

hospitality has been the hardest hit.. most of the employees were casual and most didn't apply for jobkeeper because they hadn't worked in one place for more than 12 months

(my daughter also casual was long term, it was a part time job she took while going through uni) she's still in that job.. with much extended hours which gives her little time to pursue the career of her choice... and she gets less than 24 hours notice where and when they want her to be tomorrow, so it's been very difficult for her to organize her life around that

it's the small businesses that are going to suffer as their staff didn't quality for jobkeeper

LOL.. it was us that had the lockdown and it was hard.. but we did get the virus out of the community and the nursing homes. if we hadn't done it, it could've spread right across Australia and made us just like the rest of the countries who are really in trouble now. .. and now our economy is recovering... so sorry you're not happy about that
