We used to make them years ago with Salada Crackers, make your own custard, put in a tupper ware container.

Having friends over for lunch today and after years of making very yummy cheesecakes.....for some unknown reason I put vanilla extract in the mix AAAAAAHHH!!!!
It's going to taste bad......very bad....and I don't have time to go inot town to buy eggs to make something else or even time to go to the bakery..."sigh"
Why is it going to be bad, very bad?
What's wrong with vanilla extract in cheese cake?
Sorry, I don't cook much so don't know these things ๐

I am guessing the vanilla extract is a bit strong.

Mum used to make vanilla slices with lattice biscuits. I think she used a cheesecake type filling though. Must ask her. She probably won't remember though ๐
