I'm sure of that, a3, because if the man is honest and against organised bikie crime, he would want to get rid of it so he can resume riding his bike in peace. If he's NOT against bikie crime, I hope he's pulled over another 21 times.

Do they confiscate the bikes of outlawed gang members? I think they should. That'd send a clear message.

Harassing ordinary people is only going to make it harder for the police as more and more people become aware of whats going on and more importantly become aware of their rights when being harassed.

Just think about all the crime that's going unnoticed and not followed up because this one guy has been harassed so many times and by so many police, what a waste of resource's that are not being used for the claimed purpose.

If this is repeated across the state many times I wonder how many real calls for police help are being ignored, house break ins, car thefts, assults ???

and for the record I dont believe anyone has an issue with the police going after criminals or organised crime, they are just going after the wrong people, the real criminals are not out riding bikes, they drive around in BMWs and Mercs

Outlawed bikie gang members now drive around in mercs and bmws? Ok.

It is my opinion that a hard line has to be taken to put a stop to the shootings and mafia-like crimes of the outlawed motor cycle gangs.

What would you suggest the state do to stop it?

that's a dumb question, they claim they know who is involved with organised crime, so go investigate and then prosecute them.

just like its always been done.

Harrassing the general population is not going to help because they are wasting their time, but it makes for a geat show.

according to facts Bikie crime is a very low percent of all crime and generally on the low end of the scale.

the types of crime you are talking about is gang related as in street gangs not bikie

Noone can be sure what another person, especially one they have never met, is thinking.

The first person ever charged under NSW Consorting laws had his conviction overturned (9 mth jail). He had never been involved in organised crime and had never associated with outlaw bikie gang members.

am3 the thing is they already have laws and powers, they just need to get off their butts and do the work.

infringing on people human rights is never going to work

and having  double standards for different groups is a slippery slope and that usually only happens in a dictatorship.

If a bikie is not a member of a outlawed gang nor associates with any of them and is against organised crime he doesnt deserve to be pulled over 21 times. The police are wasting their time and resources doing that as well.

The 21yo that had his conviction overturned was intellectually disabled ( can't read ir write as well), had sone minor convictions as did his housemate (s) and was consider a 'nuisance' where he lived. He was picked up on a walk to the shops with a couple of his housemates.
No connection with any bikie gangs and never
involved in organised crime..yet the police charged him unders the Consorting law.

Yes I remember that case. He was hanging around with crims. Was that the one in Bathurst or orange?

I don't see anyone offering a solution to the bikie crime problem. Does that mean you support bikie crime, or what?

Law abiding citizens who choose to ride bikes and look like bike gang members should be supportive of the law. If not, by default, they condone the random shootings and drug thugs.
