Is a tidy desk the sign of a tidy mind?
Does the state of a persons house (cleanliness) reflect a persons wealth (state of finances)?

what is a tidy mind?
In my opinion,
A tidy mind = orderly, organised, methodical and logical thinking.
(Therefore able to control their money and finances).
An untidy mind = unorganized, muddled and chaotic thinking.
(Is unable to stay on top of their finances and will most likely be in debt).

I think I would have to agree...
"..Because clutter in your outer environment is the physical manifestation
of all the clutter going on inside of you." Life coach Jayne Morris
http://www.express.co.uk/news/health/378014/Tidying-up-is-the-secret-of-success
I also agree with
"..
The presentation of your office will affect how clients perceive your business; a clean office will suggest a professional company where as an untidy office will affect both visiting clients and the staff that work there.
Also, keeping your office clean and tidy affects how other staff members act in the workplace. It will hopefully encourage them to keep their office space tidy and clean up after themselves in areas like the kitchen."... Amy Edwards.

OK, so if everyone had a nice tidy organized mind would we still be living in caves?
I can't see anyone ever inventing anything if they all were happy living within their organized, methodical mind space.
To me it just sounds bland.

Tidyness I have not,

I would say it was the tidy minded people who - could organize, forms strategies, think logically, and who were detail orientated enough to ensured we no longer lived in caves.
The messy minded people would have continued to fill their caves so full of junk (cave junk)....they wouldn't have found the entrance!! ๐

I'm not convinced thinking logically is an indicator of tidiness.
Seeing the comments on facebook the ones who write about house work and tidiness are the most uninspiring of the lot :^O

The conversation reminded me of the local shop.
It used to be chaos and busy then it got new owners...
They didn't like left overs so started cooking less food..
Then they started to sell out and so used the opportunity to clean early...
You could go there at 11am only to find they have sold out of bread and newspapers...
And they are excited because they have sold out and won't have leftovers....
I have seen them refuse top cook for 6 people at 6pm because we just turned the oil off...
That was extra profit they knocked back.
The they put up prices start charging people to use eftpos because their profit is falling
They don't get it that they are there for profit not to have everything tidied up by lunch time.
Eventually hardly anyone goes there anymore.... It used to be packed.
:^O:^O

Refuse to cook at 6.00pm!! ๐ฎ
They might have been looking for a different demographic.......those who like to eat dinner at 4.00pm....and be asleep by 6.00pm.....one demographic I hope to never be in!!
Another saying is...common sense...is not that common!

I am pathologically untidy yet I think I am a fairly logical thinker and absolutely methodical in all I do.
And I have no problems controlling my money or my finances.
