Sadly Richo has passed away.
He was found unresponsive by his son yesterday.
I pay my respects to a much loved Community Spirit member, who has graced this board for many years.
His own thread BLOKES THREAD - aimed at blokes - sheilas welcome has just celebrated 12 years on the board.
Have a beer for Richo's memory.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

โGoodbye Richo, and thank you for your friendship, it meant a lot.

Damn
His thread was the first I posted on, on CS, a base to get comfortable with "threads"
Loved his sense of humour.
RIP mate.

R.I.P. Richo. I didn't know him well, but he was one of the olds stalwarts and I know he will be missed by many posters.

How sad... ๐ He was a great guy and he started one of the most successful threads. His spirit will live on through that thread and he will be greatly missed. RIP, Richo.

I'm shocked............................................. ๐ฒ
His thread was the backbone of CS in these latter years.
I thought he would just go on for ever, anyone know how old he was ?
A dinky di aussie bloke whom always had time for anyone.
Cheers Richo for the good times,.................. and I hope everyone will keep posting on his thread.
He would want that.

Hi Kopes,
I think he just had his 74th birthday in April.
Linda would know.
His thread is the longest running thread in CS history, and he was very proud of that.

Of course he would Kopes - but it's not going to be easy.

74 is too young.
Can we please have some blokes posting on there a few times a week, perhaps? I could pull out an alter ego and post in a blokey way, but I'm not sure how successful it would be. It might be along the lines of "Have a beer, ya mug - er - belch - er - something about cars - yeah - I'll just go and tighten a few nuts and bolts", which would be terribly unfair to blokes/gentlemen/men in general.

Oh goodness ๐ฅ. Iโm am saddened to hear about Richo.
Itโs always hard when one of our regulars passes away, and it never gets any easier.
Here, we are all family, and news like this hits hard.
May his family find peace during this difficult time. He will be sorely missed, and will always remain in our hearts โฅ๏ธ
RIP old mate. ๐๐๐
