All in one place
The polls are not good for Labor
ReachTEL: 53-47 to Coalition
http://www.reachtel.com.au/blog/7-news-national-poll-10august13
Question 2: from reachtel
Which of the following do you think would make the better Prime Minister?
RUDD 46.8% Abbott 53.2
Galaxy 51-49
http://blogs.crikey.com.au/pollbludger/2013/08/10/reachtel-53-47-to-coalition/
Nielsen: 52-48 to Coalition; Galaxy: 56-44 to Coalition in Queensland
http://blogs.crikey.com.au/pollbludger/2013/08/09/nielsen-52-48-to-coalition-4/
and the betting odds are:
TAB $1.22 Libs to $4.25 Labor
Sportsbet $1.19 Libs to $4.80 Labor
Sportingbet $1.14 libs to $5.75 Labor
Not looking good for the labor diehards and for labor.
The Rudd experiment is a failure just like the man

Blaming the catastrophic loss Labor is facing on "Murdoch" just shows how out of touch Labor really is. An honest look at what Labor has done in the last 6 years is out there for Australians to judge & vote on.
The relentless policy failures of Rudd/Gillard/Rudd redux is in the public domain & reported on by ALL newspapers & MEDIA of all sides of politics & aided & abetted by the ABC to such an extent that they are now considered the Labor/ABC coalition but I can only assume this does not suit their agenda or political persuasion & this is frightening in itself.
We are heading for the most important election in a generation, we need a political party who can deliver good steady governance not a party that has ripped itself apart, riven with division, inward looking concentration on themselves, constnt lying & spin for all occasions & incapable of managing the economy.
What is wrong with the truth?? what's the reason for the spin & lies we have been subjected to for years, the truth never hurt anybody just ask Peter Beattie. This is the reason Labor will lose, not "Murdoch" or anybody else.

Excellent story and so true, well worth the read and thank you iza for posting it.... Wonder if it was all OK when Murdoch supported Rudd in 2007.... Bet it was but the luvvies will say BUT that was different.....
The story and poll results are factual and its up to the media to report that..... and its a disaster for LABOR
Silver its so typical of Labor and their fanatical supporters... they will blame everyone else except for them selves for their failures and they will do all they can to deflect from the facts... as seen on here so often

Hello Silverfaun
I would like to know how reliable and honest certain things which impact on the minds of Australia's voting public are.
Quite rationally imo if Scotland yard is currently investigating allegations bribery and phone hacking OS of our major News sources it does or should imo make people more cautious where our News Media is concerned. What's happening with the legal proceedings against Tony Abbott ?

I have heard somewhwhere that the DPP is hearing the cases today, against Miss Gillard & the slush fund & disappearence of vital documents from the Slater & Gordon solicitors offices Miss Gillard worked at.
Anybody got an update?

Does that mean they are reliable after all?

So nero, the galaxy poll showing a 13% drop in support for Labor in Qld, is that a lie because News Corp published it??
This is not an insult so no offence meant seeing as I just got back I'd like to stick around for a while.
somebody just put a bet on worth $750.000 coalition to win.
