Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.
Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.
So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.
Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.
And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.
Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

As a follow up to the Boysenberry slice recipe on page 11.
A tip: after it has cooled, I leave it in the tray and put it in the fridge for about an hour. When it is cold it is easier to
remove it from the try and to slice.
Took about 15 to 20mins from start to the oven.
Tonight I made a smaller one in a pyrex dish, gave me 8 slices.
Decided to try a different type of base.
I used 1/2 packet of nice biscuits and 60grams of butter in the food processor and thoroughly mixed, spead and pressed it firmly into the dish.
The supermarket was out of Boysenberry jam. Had about half a container at home, and bought some Raspberry jam.
I made about a 50/50mix.
The oven hadn't reached the temp, but put it in anyway, because Mrs Trav wanted the oven, as she had a roast to burn .
Removed it short time ago, removed it from the dish, trimmed,
and then sliced.
A couple of things I noticed.
The base isn't too bad, but think I could have been a little thicker, perhaps another 3 biscuits and if so, more butter.
I also noticed that the coconut seems to have browned quicker, and the jam wasn't bubbling as much, but did have more jam than usual being a smaller tray.
I suspect that this could be because I used a Pirex dish and not a metal slice tray, and the oven temp when I put it in.
Still, it looks goods, as tastes good, I have already eaten two slices.
Stawks, it seems to have worked quite well.
Ready for the oven.

Tonight is a visit to the local club.
A week ago, a new chef was employed.
The food quality seems to have deteriated a bit.
If it continues I will be letting the management know.
I plan to have steak tonight, not sure if I will have veges or chips with it.
