Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.
Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.
So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.
Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.
And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.
Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Thanks Springy. I have been getting frozen meals delivered, but just Lean Cuisine/McCain's etc from Woolies. Not excellent, but fill the gaping hole of hunger.
Tas, that recipe for Impossible Quiche can be made with the same amount of just Plain Flour. I've made it a lot and it's just great. And better the next day.
I put up the recipe for that on Richo's thread, hoping he would make it, for a change
of menu. Others ran with it, loved it and named it Stawka Pie. Hahahaha

Tas, that reminds me of going to dinner at a friends house.
Decided to help out with separate little chocolate iced mud cakes.
Sitting - all tarted up - in the four wheel drive - said cakes on knees - gently balanced.
OH - never goes round a round about thingy - he goes across a round about thingy.
Yep - wore the mud cakes.
I have learnt not to get into a car with him - often.

@tasfleurwrote:I made a gigantic trifle to take to a friend's house for dinner a few years ago.
It was just an awful pity that we didn't think to carry it in a container with a lid (didn't have a big enough one anyway) so I carried it on my lap while Mr. Tasfleur dove.
I could have put plastic wrap across the glass bowl I supposed, yes, but there was something of a hurry going on and the custard/jelly wasn't quite congealed.
It tasted okay, but 'trifle' it was not ultimately .. more like a sweet quicksand ..
So Mr Tasfleur dove into the trifle while it was on your lap? No wonder it was more like sweet quicksand.

Poor little mud cakes Domino (I shouldn't laugh but ......) ... I have this vision of little cakes decorating the car and flapping at the traffic ...
Thanks Stawks. I'll try out the pastry mix first to see what it's like. I did make one with ordinary flour a while ago but I think I might have got a little over excited about the amount ... wasn't quite right ... next time around though, I'll cut it down and see what happens.
