The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

It was worth having dinner at my old club,

My wife had steak & pepper sauce, salad & chips. I had chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce salad & chips.

Then pokies, we played different machines, $10 each, and left 45mins later with our $20 plus another $90.

Got to eat for nothing and left with more money than we went there with.

Was well worth it, and will return next Monday night. Smiley Very Happy

Now time to relax.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (and Steak as well)!!!

*sigh

Ordered in Red Chook burgers and wraps with chips, and a whole chook for tomorrow night.

Then I'll make what's known in our family as a 'Grandma Dinner'.

All the kids know what it is, and they love it.

Partners newly joined in the family think it's strange.  But there's no complaints.

Don't ask.     The combinations of foods are weird, but it's down to the 4th generation now.

I didn't get home till 10.30ish, and was starving.

My wife cooked me up bacon , eggs and toast. Quick and easy, then wished me a goodnight and went to bed.

Guess who had to wash up & clean the kitchen. Smiley LOL

I must be the only person to eat this evening. Smiley Happy

Club: Had a very nice Lamb Roast, excellent veges, gravy and mint jelly. Did I mention it was vary nice.

I had spoken to them about a couple of meals I wasn't pleased with, and hope the issues have been resolved.

Very, very happy, Smiley Very Happy

No, we ate too.

I quickly made some small falafel wraps with hommous, tomato, lettuce, parsley and lemon juice.

Simple and nice. Smiley Happy

Better than what those silly girls on MKR cooked up at the table tonight. Smiley Mad

Hope they don't come back. Much prefer Masterchef anyway.

Roast chicken and...............other things.

I don't like MKR or Masterchef.  Too snobby for me.  Not your home cooks at all.

I like to watch The Great Australian Bake Off

Correction - They're so cute.

You're right Masterchef has become a little over the top.

I liked the first 2 seasons and of course the kids.

And well, MKR, producers make it more of a drama than a cooking show.
