The item they sell is meant to be True Wasabi seeds or "Wasabia Japonica".
The seed they are selling is "Brassica Juncea" or mustard seeds......
Wasabi Japonica looks like a rice grain/egg, and can take 200days to germ. Wasabi Japonica has cotyledons that look like a lettuce leaf, and true leaves like Mickey mouse. The plant they are selling is the opposite. It has cotyledons that look like Mickey mouse and true leaves like lettuce.
I bought from the same company they bought their seed from, and was defrauded too. USD$85.00 for a 2kg bag, too good to be true, but quite profitable if it was legit, or if I was dodgy like the other seller! This seller knows they are not as the label says, has done for more than 12months.
They are not true Wasabi seeds, just a cheap substitute, but the seller feels no guilt ripping off others, like they were ripped off.
I sent the seller pictures of true Wasabi and the seed their item grows into, and they immediately stopped sales to Australia, but they are still selling elsewhere world wide.
I have reported the item, repeatedly, but eBay doesn't take action?
What do you advise?
Its not a mistake, this is fraud, and as most folk don't know the difference, there is only the 1 negative feedback visible now.
"Trust and safety" have been made aware, several time now.......
