Hi I recently had an item I couldnt post with Auspost due to its size so I used Fastway couriers instead. They said the item wont be delivered without a signature and if no one was home etc they would leave a calling card to arrange redelivery at no extra cost. Anyhow the item was delivered yesterday but the signature left was front door yes thats what the signature was signed on the tracking signed"front door" Now I know i didnt post to anyone by the name of front door, so I assuming the courier has left it at the door and signed on it himself "front door" getting a bit worried as the buyer hasnt left feedback and it was quite an expensive item and before someone says I could contact the buyer to see of they recieved it think about the pandoras box that could open if they have and are dishonest. Just after any advice on what to do next. fastway say the item is covered for up to 1500 dollars on their website but it has conditions and doesnt state what they are. I am very annoyed at their service and the service of other courier post companies Including Auspost it just seems like none of them have any idea of the ins and outs of online trading ie paypal requirements etc. Any help would be appreciated Cheers Tom

Hi I am trying to set up this account to sell items. I have tried to verify using PP and credit card but each time it takes me to confirm my identity by phone. I have a silent number and am not willing to have that as the primary number for my account which is what it states will happen. I have a mobile phone but we don't have reception here so if they call I won't be able to answer the call. Is there a way around this? Any help appreciated. Thanks

a bidder won 7 of my auctions, they always replied to my emails, and said could they wait until all auctions finished before paying, which i agreed to, now they wont reply, they have received neg feedback for not paying, where do i go from here, pretty annoyed, can i send the 2nd chance offers that i receieved all on auctions yet?

I have listed items on the US site but then it doesnt allow the option where i can ship to australia so now i can only post to us and not to australia (well i can but customers see it as i dont post to australia).

We have suppliers/stores in all the capital cities and a few rural locations. So customers will be able to go directly to a location near them and pick up their goods. Can the location be individually set per item, or is it only dictated by the address in the member account? Thanks in advance for your knowledge!

I'm new to selling and want to list similar items at same time but it's taking me awhile to set up. Is it possible to make a draft and not delete it when I go to set up another item? Hoping to draft 4 or so items and then list at same time in case of combined postage.

I have just recieved this from a buyer, I had checked this quilt cover thoroughly before sending, it was brand new in packet, but there is now an issue after it has been washed, where do i stand, i am not a store or anything just cleaning out home....Help me what should i do "I recently purchased a double bed 'botanical' bed sheet set from you on ebay. I was surprised when I received the item as the material, although a polyester cotton blend, was much stiffer than expected. I thought that by washing the sheets with fabric softener this may fix the problem, however when I took the sheets out of the wash I noticed the side seam had started to unravel. I am very disappointed with this product and believe it to be not only faulty but also poor quality. I read that you do not accept returns, however I believe my consumer rights entitle me to a refund and I would be grateful if you could make an exception considering the circumstances. I would like to return the sheets for a refund."

I asked about warranty and there is no paperwork for this item. I also rang the company and they haven't manufactured the item in two years? How can Ebay allow this listing?

how can a seller list 500000 books on ebay list them as being in nsw posted with location nsw and yet posts them all from the uk supposed to be express post from the nsw guess what all posted from the uk 1200 feedback 52 negatives 49 neutral i had to beg to list 2250 listings and we have another user id which is top rated powerseller least on our new store i listed location uk does ebay care about being fair or are they just getting rid of the small sellers bit bye bit

Surely it can be done here soon--saving lots of loading time. At the moment we have to look at each item individually to see 'viewers'. On USA site there is column for 'viewers/ watchers and another for bids--ShOULD be brought in soon !!

how long has a seller got to send a item after payment..:eg if your payment left yor account on 29/08 and seller still has'nt marked as SENT.

Hi, Recently I received negative feedback for ebay item #251090603474 from ebay member summerfield81. It was clearly stated in the listing that the item is antenna missing and battery dead. Even though he purchased the item and left us negative feedback for the same reason. We contacted ebay via feedback manipulation and emails several times. But did not get any reply yet. Even though requested him half the item price plus postage in exchange of the feedback revision request. Which he agreed finally. But I am sure that the item was as described, What should I do now? Thanks for your help

What can be done if you have posted out an item in perfect condition and after a little while, the buyer claims the item was delivered in a broken condition that is: 1 - the fault of the post office, but ultimately YOUR problem because they are expecting you to do something about it. Postal insurance cannot be claimed because the required packaging has since been disposed of by the buyer. 2 - your fault. When they opened the intact/undisturbed packaging, their item was broken and smashed, etc. I mean when it comes to the crunch, what can be done? If they're demanding a refund due to the 2nd problem and a seller refuses out of absolute, (yet unprovable) certainty that the buyer is lying, is the buyer justified in leaving negative feedback? Please help!!!
