Hi everyone, I've been asked by a family member to sell a Pandora bracelet that was meant to be a gift but was never given. It was purchased for on/just over $1000 from a reputable jeweller early last year and they now would like to sell it. I've sold items on eBay before, however never of that value! What would be the best way to list it? Buy It Now with Best Offer or to have it as an auction? The family member has said that they don't care if it sells for $500, however I'd rather sell it as close as possible to their purchase price given the heartache that it has caused them. I'm obviously going to make sure that it is sent via registered/tracking/signature mail due to it's value. Any advice would be great thanks 🙂

I can't upload pictures when listing on Ebay, it comes up with Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at cgi5.ebay.com.au. or your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing. I'm not sure what this means as I've never had problems before 😞 Any help would be appreciated Thanks Pam

Hi, i have 3 listing on ebay and put in a period of 7 days, i want to end this sooner as i will be interstate and may not have access to computer, how can i change my listing to end sooner, say in a day or two ???

Why is that on Ebay.com.au we get 30 free listings per month but in the USA they get 50 free listings per month. Doesn't seem fair really!

Hi there , just a quick question . I have 2 different ebay accounts that i buy and sell from . I hadn't used 1 account for some time so today i decided to list 3 items on this account to keep the sales going . I then went back to my other account and wanted to re list some items but the system wouldn't accept my password so i couldn't re list anything . Does anyone know if this is normal , i haven't tried to sell from both user names at the same time in the past....Thanks in advance for your help.....Cheers Brett

Normally I don't have many problems with buyers not paying, but over the last 2 weeks, there have been heaps. Not sure why all of a sudden this is happening.

We are importing from a Chinese supplier and we have had problems with damaged goods. Our supplier is ignoring us. We have a contract drawn up and signed to cover this issue. Any constructive ideas from the EBAY community would be much appreciated as to how we can proceed or who may be able to assist us.

It seems incredulous that there are ebay shops set up specially to sell tickets at a huge profit. How do these people get access to multiple tickets when, in a lot of cases there is a limited number of tickets that you can buy at oe time (SOUNDWAVE had a limit of 2)??

How can I still access free listings every month now that i have been automatically made a powerseller and Ebay wont let me go back to being a casual seller?

before buyers can leave a neutral or negative feedback, the system should ask them if they have contacted the seller and not allow them to proceed until they have done so. all too often buyers leave negative feedback without ANY communication to the seller. this is a flawed system. they can put a man on the moon and a robot thingy on mars so i'm sure eBay can organise this. Becausefrankly it's not fair. i take my service very seriously and today i received a neutral from a buyer who had had the item for 5 wks and hadn't contacted me with her concerns. even after she had left the feedback i refunded her payment and let her keep the item. cheers. janeyx

I am new to selling on ebay. I listed items with registered mail as the only option for postage. I did not know there were options. Since that first listing, I have seen that I can offer free postage as well as registered mail. Before RELISTING, I would like to edit the postage section to reflect free postage as well as other choices. Is editing the postage section possible before relisting or does that then become a new listing? Thank you for any and all help!

I've sold an item and buyer paid , I've then send the item by regular post . 5 days after postage I've got email asking where is his item , then day after I've got messages with very offensive language and negative feedback in which I'm called a scum and rip off . Buyer didn't wait for response just started those abusive messages . What I can do?

I recently sold a dress to a girl in NSW (and I am in VIC) and it has been 2 weeks since I sent it to her and today she has e-mailed me saying she never received it. I sent it regular post (so no tracking number), with a return address. I truly did send it, so what happens now? Do I have to give her a refund? I don't want negative feedback.... Also in the future should I put "not responsible for lost mail" in my shop policies?
