I have been having problems registering for managed payments, and even though I have contacted eBay numerous times about it, and have now uploaded all the required documents, they have now suspended my account and ended all my listings!
I first tried to register for managed payments at the beginning of March, but the link provided to upload did not work. I replied to the email a number of times asking for a working link with no response, then phoned to tell them. I was told my call would be noted and that because of that my account would be fine.
Jump to April 27, I received an email asking for all the information again and giving me until June 11 to have it done. I did all of it straight away and received a confirmation email on April 28 that they had received it all.
April 29, my account is suspended and all my (200+) listings have been ended. Even though I had been given until June 11 to have it all done.
Ebay tells me through chat that it will now take 48 business hours to fix this problem. What happens to my loss of sales during this time? And also my loss of sales due to the fact that all my sales history has now disappeared?
I see from other posts that I am not the only one having problems with this. eBay causes all these problems but will only fix it on their own terms and we as sellers are the ones who suffer.

For sales history you now need to go in to the Seller Hub
AS for action against eBay you will need a lot of heavy duty lawyers and a lot more people on board than have posted here I am afraid.
Also, probably not the best idea to come to the eBay boards to incite others to join in a Class Action suit against the owner of the boards JMO

There are some sellers whose accounts are registered as Trusts, Partnerships, Co-operatives or Associations, who have had problems with Managed Payments. Is yours one of them?
I understand your frustration but you cannot agitate against Ebay in the forums or threaten legal action - it's explicitly in the T&C's that you agreed to.

We are on the same deadline of 11 June and will wait until the eleventh hour to register for 'Mangled Payments'. Even though we cannot modify or add listings we were well prepared and can function and still selling despite the threats. It is not in eBay's best interest to cancel anything. If you don't sell - they don't make money.
We run 2 accounts so we have a backup plan. Suggest you register for a new account from scratch and get going that way and at least get some listings up and selling for the weekend, maybe your best selling ones.

Not a bad idea @cofee, but the new account may be subject to the new restrictions that are in place.
OP - if you do decide to open another account, you'll just need to have another email address to use.

Yes we are a Trust so possibly a problem. But why suspend my account and end all my listings when the deadline has not even been met? I think that is one of my main concerns.

There have been quite a few members who have mentioned that they are Trusts and cannot be registered "at this time". It's very confusing because on one hand Ebay is making you register, but on the other hand, there is info put out NOT to register if you are one of those entities. It's been handled pretty poorly IMHO.
I think the best way to resolve is to tell them on Chat that you are a Trust and are not eligible to be registered at this point - I think they will "reset" things so you can carry on trading. Have a look at some of the threads which discuss this issue - there have been several over the past few weeks.

I'm honestly starting to think this issue needs media attention.
By now ebay is more than aware they are having issues with businesses that have specific structures, and yet they have done absolutely nothing to address it - they have made no announcements or provided no warnings within the registration process (AFAIK), provided no alternatives, but just continue to allow people to register under these structures, causing no end of problems for them afterwards, including taking in thousands in sales and never disbursing the funds from those sales, and to add insult to injury, due to their complete incompetence, suspend some of the affected sellers' accounts.
That needs national attention & outcry, IMHO.

It's eBay's way or no way. We are done. My solution, Gum tree!
