Australia Post Store... postage DSRs....The irony!

Hi Today  I came across the user ID australiapoststore They appear to be Australia Post & are using their logos (but I could be wrong) Anyway the irony is that their own postage time/charges DSRs are 4.6 stars Leave little hope for the rest us sellers!

Re: Australia Post Store... postage DSRs....The irony!

All orders I made arrived in 3 business day. (NSW)

They received about 2,700 feedbacks last one month and less than 10 negative and less than 40 neutrals. Most of customers seem to be happy.

Yes it is Australia Post, where they sell the click and send satchells, and the majority of their poor DSRs and their negatives are from disgruntled aust post customers who think it is smart to take there grievances out on the ebay site.

I have just looked at their first page of neg feedback (that is 200) and most (not just a majority) of the negs are for poor quality items, faulty items and overly long postage times or not receiving items purchased from the ebay store.

Sure there are a few stating that click and send is "crap" which is obviously nothing to do with this ebay store.

They must be getting stock from different batches than I am, bump. My satchels work. And I normally order when I start using the previous lot, so plenty of time for them to arrive before I need them.

Re: Australia Post Store... postage DSRs....The irony!

gripes with a seller about late delivery and poor quality product are usually recorded in the feedback section....well all other sellers anyways

... and I note some that think the feedback is not valid ??? why???

I am sure if a buyer came in and complained about another seller that had similar feedback those same dissenters would admonish the buyer for not checking the feedback pre sale.

The gripe re poor sealing of sactchels has been an ongoing problem in the sellers feedback since July.

The slow slow delivery has been a recurring theme since AP started selling on ebay.

That a freight company has a storage depot/branch in almost every town and cannot deliver their own exclusive product via their own freight service  on time is a sad sad indictment.....

The decision to deliver from a central point in hindsight was extremely poor.

Do you know what but ??????

It graphically shows that when a company has a MONOPOLY on an item that ebay feedback/dsr's means diddley squat

...... the customers cannot get it anywhere else

I note Alice showing her true colours in some of the replies to the negative feedback.............

If there was another ebay seller who could deliver the satchels in a timely manner and addressed customers concerns re the poor sealing of bag and those issues/facts were acknowledged to be fixed in subsequent buyers feedback.................

Who would you buy the bags from???????

ie the thread above, it appears that the consensus is....... the seller exhibited extremely poor customer service

Australia post has been receiving complaints re poor bag sealing since July 2012

....... they are still receiving negative feedback for the same reason

Australia post has been receiving poor delivery stars since they started trading on ebay........

How is Asutralia Post any different to the seller noted on the thread above???

three in a row while I am at it.....

If another seller supplied their own inhouse exclusive product that could only be exclusively used with a system that the same company designed, advertised, administered and profited from

ie. Click and send.......who  would you complain to in the first instance?

although you have the bags...... the system that is supposed to utilize them is not functioning correctly?????

WTF is the use of the bags then at all.

Alices feedback replies that she "only sells the bags" and has "no control of the click and send system" would be retail suicide in most settings and shows an abject lack of the concept of customer satisfaction

You don't think that....just quietly ๐Ÿ˜‰

...syrups............

this particular seller could expect to deal with mostly....wait for it.......... other sellers??? (given their almost sole product line?)

Sellers, who are much more aware of the consequences of low dsrs and negative feedback (think seller sympathetic) and are more likely to leave a NEUTRAL rather than a negative

whereas

the rest of us (and I guess the control group for your statement that the feedback ratio is not that bad) get to deal with almost exclusively buyers ( and the odd buyer and seller...oooh a member) who are  anecdotally not nearly as sympathetic as other sellers are and much more likely to go with a straight negative??

My comments were directly related to the latest 200 negative feedback left for the store mentioned in the OP.

These 200 feedback represent about 160-170 disgruntled buyers and it is not all about the click and send system but is about the product being sold.

I don't use click and send, I have never even looked at their ebay store, I was merely pointing out that from reading the feedback I could not be so certain as to say all the negs are from people not happy with the click and send system.

After reading the feedback I am left thinking that there is a smart-alec responding to the latest negs with little thought or care for the buyers' actual problems.

Just because no one here has had problems with the satchels we are supposed to accept that there is no problem and has never been a problem and most of the negs are malicious?

Re: Australia Post Store... postage DSRs....The irony!

We use the satchels a lot and there was a problem with a couple of batches earlier this year. The strip that covers the adhesive in the label window was almost impossible to remove without damaging the satchel. The satchels were still usable and it was really no drama. I just left the strip there and stuck a strip of clear tape over the end to seal the label section. The more recent deliveries of the satchels have all been fine.

Re: Australia Post Store... postage DSRs....The irony!

took two weeks for melb to brisbane. if it was a normanl seller that gets bad srevice from the postal company then fine they have no control over it but they are the Post Office and deserved a negative.

i love all these people who have not had a bad experience with a seller writing off others experiences because they got good service.

imagine the sea of red dots if ebay got rated for performance - sure the majority of transactions are no problem but overall the experience is neutral at best(lets assume some people will think ebay deserve a positive so no need to stick up for them in response).:O
