This is discrimination against people whom sell Intimate Aparel.
Some one who knows anything please help?
Your not allowed to offer refund on intimate aparel for health and saftey reason if there is doubt if the item has been worn.

reading more into it, it sounds like it does not matter if the item is in doubt of being worn.
In Australia Sellers of Intimate aparel Have the right to refuse refund and only offer exchange if the faulty item is returned in the same original unworn, unwashed condition the item left the premises of purchase in.
And that is to protect the seller because you can not mark intimate aparel down and put it for re-sale once it is worn.

I am very concerned about the changes to the trs program moreso than the fee changes which can somewhat be covered by changes to pricing of items.
Is express post going to have paypal cover for sellers if we are to be forced into offering it?
What about country sellers who may not have a post office nearby? They may have near perfect feedback and dsr's, but if they physically can only post once or twice a week, are they really going to be punished with lower search rankings, just because of where they live?
Similarly with the express post option, what if you are not in an express zone?
What about disabled sellers, who may only post once a week but otherwise offer impecable service to their customers, are they going to have to employ some-one just to post for them to keep thier search ranking high?
30 day return policy? So a buyer can buy a nice dress and expensive jewelery for a special night out, and then afterwards claim some sort of excuse and want to return?
What is ebay going to do for sellers who have items returned that have obviously been worn or used, is the seller going to be somehow forced to prove that? Or refund and then have to resell at a loss as a used item?
The changes to the trs program seem to be aimed at metropolitan business sellers, who can post daily, have huge stock levels and who can wear a large amount of returns. There are country folk who offer excellent service and run successful businesses as well, who will be severely penalised by these changes. I find it appalling that some trs will lose that status, simply because of geographical location.

For those concerned about Express Post and lack of Seller Protection, it's important to remember that it's only (most of) the pre-paid satchels and envelopes that don't meet the eligibility requirements, Express Platinum and anything sent in own packaging does. I don't know the costs for parcels over 500 grams, but for under it costs $9.55, the same as a standard pre-paid satchel (so does cost a bit more for any extra packaging, and no bulk discounts. I'm assuming parcels over 500gm could get to be quite a bit more than a 3kg satchel, however the 5kg satchel @$21-something also meets eligibility requirements). But, the other issue is of course is that you can't register them, and if memory serves there's no compensation available.
Aside from several other reasons why I don't wish to offer Express as standard on listings, it would be almost pointless (other than for the purpose of "rank hunting") on more than half my items - they go as large letters for under $2, but only documents can be sent via express letters. I very much doubt someone will be prepared to pay another $8 or so on a $10 item just to have something the next day.

You'd really be surprised.
A number of my listings have Express post as an optiopn and buyers regulary take advantage of it.
The other day one of my buyers paid the extra $8.50 for express posting a $4.95 free post item.
If buyers need an item urgently for a special occasion they are prepared to pay whatever it costs to receive it before the weekend.

I am so agreeing with this. Trade has been terribly slow for us on Ebay. I think it is because the big traders get the first pages and sometimes there are pages full with the same item. Very annoying.
We don't need to be in line with the USA either, since in the USA shipping by post is very cheap. Australia is the most expensive country to ship an item. So we end up with even less customers from overseas and will get more sellers from overseas. For the smaller seller, who has a niche or hobby this is going to be a nightmare. Ebay is not what it used to be. A fun and great way to sell your product. Ebay now is like wolf, who is always hungry for more money and less service.
