Charged $7.59 for eBay 500g postage label

When I purchased the label it said $7.40 as the cost. However when I look in my account activity it shows that I've been charged $7.59.

Is this happening to everyone? Or is it my lucky day?!

I just used the 'ring me' option. Quicker and no cost to me.

davewil, could you kindly tell me what the cost of postage should be using eBay 500gm & 3kg satchels.

Did the postage costs for eBay satchels increase? . I have been charged $12.05 for eBay 3kg satchels this morning.

Is there any discount for using eBay labels for calculated postage when using own packaging/boxes.

I have been unable to find Ebays postage costs. Thank you.

With the ebay labels and click and send:  you have the option to pay extra for signature on delivery.

Ebay postage does give a 10% discount when using your own packaging - but as you see, it is very cheap to buy their satchels and get the satchel rate.

According to your schedule, I have been charged correctly.

Prior to AP's last price increase, I was being charged 7.15 for 500gm eBay satchel (now 7.40)

11.70 for 3kg eBay satchel (now 12.05)

7.45 for 500gm parcel/own packaging (now 7.60 - same as C&S & at P.O.).

plus EBay's commission on postage.

Are you looking at the price on the label processing page, or what is actually showing on your list of fees (via Account summary.>fees)?

The issue is that what they say they are charging you and what they are actually adding to your account differs $7.40 vs $$7.59 for 500gm satchels.

This has happened at least once before, initially they side stepped it then reimbursed sometime later

Hi lane-ends, The actual postage costs are not showing in my seller account fees as yet. I guess that they will show up later today or tomorrow.

The postage costs I was referring to were showing when I printed the eBay labels earlier today.

I just wanted to know if eBay's postage had increased & how much postage was now for 500gm & 3kg eBay satchels & 500gm parcels using eBay's postage.

Looks like I'll have to try the "ring me" option. I got a reply via email, but no credit to my account!

I had same happen on 5/10/16 label said $7.40 but charged $7.59, I messaged ebay and was told postage had gone up, yes it has from $7.15 to $7.40 as per the notice.  I explained this, and that I was charged correct amont of $7.40 on 6/10/16.  After a bit of back and forth conversation, ebay customer service agreed to give me a refund of overcharge, I got back $0.45c, I have no idea what they were doing but not complaining.
