Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

I am no longer getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell, is anyone else having this problem, or can you tell me why.  I have been selling for many years.

Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

There has been a number of threads about this particular topic.  If you do a search here you'll find some interesting solutions that might woirk for your ID [seems to be ID-specific].  It seems as though it is different for everyone.  Some say they haven't seen the option to automatically relist since their sales have increased (I was actually told once by an ebay person that once you reach a certain level of sales that it stops ...... hasn't happened for me and for many others).

Some have found if you are creating a listing from scratch that the option should be there and if it isn't, try "save for later", then edit .... save again .... edit again ..... sometimes this works.

If you are relisting an unsold item, always make sure you "edit listing".  You might find the option comes available again.

Having said that, some members have found they lost their "automatic relist" option some time ago and it has not returned no matter what action is taken.

It was a limited time promotion aimed at low volume sellers.  Maybe your turnover now makes you ineligible.

Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

Some suggestions from members in the past where that the maximum limit for recieving the offer was around $10,000 in sales PA. My private account usually sells more than this and had never had access to the offer. Around 3 months ago, my annual T/O dropped below $10,000 for a few weeks as I was spending my time away from ebay due to other commitments.  During this period I recieved the 3 free relists for the first time ever. This increased sales and within a few weeks my turnover lifted and the offer was again, no longer available. I have had solid sales in the last couple of months and have not been offered the free relists.

In short, I,m not sure if I recieved the offer because my sales and listing activity fell away for a period or because I dropped below the mythical $10,000 annual sales threshold, but something triggered the 3 free relists offer to be available to my account for a few weeks at least.

Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

If you sold $12000 and over or 100 sales then you don't qualify anymore as you are classed as a power seller.

So as long as you're a power seller you will not receive the 3 free re lists.

Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

@ hutch_hendr: Just wait a few hours or so (or a day at worst) and it should reappear. The same thing happens just about every week.

@ lyndal1838: I highly doubt someone with who has just cracked 100 feedback would have hit such a limit with items being sold in the tens of dollars!

The "Automatically relist 3 times for free" option is not a limited time promotion per se* - the recent promotion was for 100 free listings (e.g. no insertion fees), which are added to the 40 that non-stores are given, and then vanish after five days or so, leaving you with what's left of your initial 40 once again.

* The 40 free listings and 3 free relists on every item are both pretty much guaranteed every single month for small sellers (which can include Top Rated PowerSellers too), until eBay decides to change the game and kick out all the casual sellers. When the 40 free listings do disappear, or drop to only 20 or something equally useless, my selling account will probably go into hibernation.

You are totally incorrect, all sellers that have achieved 100 sales or $12000 are excluded from the 3 free relistings.

I complained to ebay about this and that's what I was told.

I haven't had the 3 free relist for over a year now because I'm a power seller.

Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

I have heard of the 100/$12000 limit before however (the limit of 100 sales is mostly likely just a way for them to push you towards a store account, then you get Good 'Til Cancelled instead of having to put up with 10 day BINs); it just didn't cross my mind with the OP's account, which only has 100 feedback and lower-value items (<$100) in the feedback history.

I haven't lost my 3 relists (yet) and I have PowerSeller status, but I will add that I rarely get above 50 sales per month (I have most certainly had more than 100 sales since opening my account many years ago), so that might explain it. Currently I'm stuck with 90-odd games that no-one seemingly wants and no freebies left, so I'm sitting it out until next month. Not paying $1.50 each to list games worth $2-$5 that sit there doing nothing for months on end. Maybe if the insertion fees were 10 cents... Don't know why listing on a website costs that much anyway, it should be put into your fees if anything, not as a surcharge (rival ATM "operator fees", sigh) - it isn't like there is a 1000 page eBay Australia magazine at your local newsagent every month (and if there was, it would probably be full of Target, Kmart and Big W stock anyway!)

Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

I was frustrated as too why everyone I knew was still getting the 3 free relists so I contacted ebay and demanded that I receive them also but ebay told me that that will never happen as I have had more than 100 sales and also sold over $12000 and this acheivement only needs to happen once and then you loose the 3 free relists.

I asked what so once I acheive power status then I no longer qualify, yes was ebays answer.

I said well there are power sellers on ebay that are still getting the 3 free relists and ebay CS said well if they are then soon they will not.

And feedback score has nothing to do with how much you think a seller has sold or earned in sales because not every buyer leaves feedback if they did I would have triple the amount of feedback score that I have at the moment.

IMO I think that ebay are favouring some sellers than others hence why lots of power sellers still have the 3 free relists.

Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

When mine first went AWOL on one id and I contacted ebay I was told that I had lost them because of incresed sales, many others on the boards were told the same thing however some were told it was a glitch. Three days later they mostly reappeared and stayed there until I stopped selling in April. The few where it was not showing it appeared if I clicked on revise.
