Hi, I'm new to ebay and I sold my first Item Tuesday night! I'm still waiting for the buyer to pay. How long should I wait before giving bad feedback etc? I have sent him 3 invoices with no reply or anything? Just wondering what I should do?

I'm sure we have settled in the last TWO YEARS. Or SEVEN if you're going by the OP.
Is there any particular reason why you have bumped this thread to add nothing of substance? Or is it just that you don't understand time?

Hi davewil1964....
Happily for me that some one "bumped" the thread. The question was one I want to know the answer too and the first few answers were exactly what I was looking for.
🙂

Actually no, that information is uselesss, seven year old information no longer applies, read the help file for the up to date facts. No point bumping a 7 year old thread.
In case you cant be bothered, here is the link.

I’d recommend waiting 5 days for payment, but it’s up to you.

Is there any Site people that can close these type of threads once they have been sorted. So they can just be viewed only ?

Only moderators can make threads 'read only'
At their discretion.
And you can't request it because you're not the OP.

People should be using their own common sense when picking up old threads, do they really think 7 year old information would still be relevant. Admins shouldn't have to step in because of a lack of common sense

The mod kh_stanley has locked a lot of threads, they appear to be the only one that's doing it,

But it still happens, I did it unknowingly when I first started, and did I cop it hahahahaha
