Hi there,
I am in Australia and have only been selling to people who live in Australia.
I have just had an enquiry from someone in Belarus asking if I ship to Europe... I'm not sure what to do.
Has anyone had any experience in shipping from Australia to Europe? I always just use Australia Post, but really not sure firstly who to use and secondly how I would change their shipping price on the product that they're enquiring about.
I read something on Ebay about not being able to send products to Belarus but not sure if this is still happening or if we're now able to.
Sorry about the long enquiry. Hoping someone can guide me on what to do.
Many thanks

Thank you so much. I'll take your advice and not continue with this person

What you have to consider not only with this sale, but with any future sales too, is the possibility of things going wrong or of a buyer not being happy and wanting a refund or return.
When a buyer is in Australia, you can issue them with a postage label if that happens but if it is someone overseas, being out of pocket for 2 lots of postage might be just too much & it might be more financially viable to just let them keep it without a return or else you may end up paying them a partial refund.
I don't think all overseas customers are like this but I think there are definitely some who will take advantage and to be honest, this sounds as if it could be one of those situations.

At this particular time, I would not be sending anything, anywhere near Belarus.
Now, Re your particular item, I presume it has a CE Mark, or is required to have a CE Mark.
The EU brought in new processes for export of CE Mark items to Europe, at the time it seemed like too big a hassle, so I stopped selling all CE Mark items to Europe full stop.
Don't need the hassles.
Does your item have an EU style Plug fitted or an adapter supplied, no mention in the listing.

Probably not mentioned in the listing as the seller only posts within Aus.

Yep, but the listing does not even indicate voltage, or any Oz certification.
The reference to the EU plug, is in relation to exporting CE Mark items to
Europe, and the need to have a European economic partner, or distributor.
In all likelyhood the item would be seized on entry if it was not manufactured for sale in the EU and/or shipped with correct documentation as provided by the manufacturer

Understood - but there is a Manufacturer's 1 Year Warranty. lol
Nowhere does it state they are an accredited reseller.

OP only sells to Australia.
Belarus is on their exclusion list - along with all other countries (I haven't counted)

Already covered.
More interested in where these items are made.

HI, stawks and Dom
Will try to clarify
I was not saying it had to be included in the listing for Oz.
I was asking if it was indeed destined for the EU market, as such info was not allready available in the listing.
So a question, followed by the reason for asking.
Hope that makes sense.. Bloody English language.

Why is there a need for this question, when the listing is only for Australia and not the EU market?
