i have been a loyal member of ebay for over 15 years and have recently sold 5 items in the last 4 weeks with 100% positive feedback. Ebay has regularly transferred funds into my account within 1-2 business days as stated in their policy of t&c, as it should be the case. BUT without any justification or even valid legal rights they are holding my money for a period of 3 weeks..... outrageous and unacceptable !!! even customer service Leadership Team Jean (irish lady) could NOT justify this action based on the conditions written on " TRANSACTION ON HOLD" page. She could not find on their website anything that fitted their action ..... yet the money has not been released and is still with ebay for their own benefit!. (as a buyer I pay fees which I don't object as they are clearly explained in their T&C's). RELEASE MY MONEY NOW! if you are experiencing this same unfair treatment then shout and make it public

have a scroll through the 'selling' boards.... lots of threads about it

You appear to be an infrequent seller, and as such everytime you resume selling after a break, you will be deemed a new seller, and ebays hold on funds will apply.
As you also appear to be on the ebay managed payments system, funds should be withheld for 30 days
Your previous history with ebay is irrelevant .
Note, Withholding funds, is of no benefit to ebay at all.

The CS person obviously did not look very far
Or have basic knowledge of how things work/anything about eBay policies
You also have 2 positive feedbacks in the past month, not 5

Where did the OP mention anything about feedback?
on the 25th october they made a sale of $42.00 I will wager that ebay paid out those funds in 1 to 2 days
on the 26th October they made a best offer sale of $59.95 lets say $40 I will wager ebay paid out those funds in 1 to 2 days
on the 7th November they made a sale of 27.50 I will wager ebay paid out those funds in 1 to 2 days
on the 9th November they made a sale for $72.50 I will wager that ebay paid out those funds in 1 to 2 days
on the 24th November they made a sale of $110.00.... I bet 25 cents they have not paid out that amount......
ebays commision @ 13% including postage over all the sales is approximately 50 bucks..... the OP is wondering why all of a sudden they have to wait 3 weeks. Ebay has their cut ???
What changed??
Arguably their sales are greater this month than they were last month

Very top line
and have recently sold 5 items in the last 4 weeks with 100% positive feedback.

What changed?
Recently? Nothing. People just don't read up on policies.
I'm guessing you don't either.
I posted a link earlier - obviously for no reason.

How do you know they didn't?
Where does it say it's only for the last sale?
Again the OP's first line -
have been a loyal member of ebay for over 15 years and have recently sold 5 items in the last 4 weeks
edit: "I'll wager" that prior to those 5 sales, they weren't on Managed Payments. They haven't sold for a year.
The money for those prior sales went into Paypal.
