What does postage time have anything to do with the seller?

Aust Post are late in their delivery of the items, as the result seller got low rating on their DSR.

So what is the logic in this?

I sent items as soon as I could which is usually within 12 hours from the time the payments arrived, yet in the DSR, I have a few 1 and 2 star on postage time.

Are we the seller being punished for the lapse done by others?

I understand .About every 3rd letter/envelope parcel i receive are not stamped with the cancellation stamp.
Also, I pop the stamp on and place in the mail box where/when and if it gets stamped with a date is unkown to me.

There you go.

You are posting using a method that cannot attract Paypal seller protection. So you self-insure. And accept the consequences. Which you have chosen.

Sorry i dont understand your reply to comment? I was agreeing with imastawka about receiving stamped letters/envelopes that dont have the cancellation stamp. And outlining that when i post in a mail box i wouldnt know if it got stamped.
I rarely have a problem with postage time complaints or missing items ( been selling for 9 years now) Only recently have i had a rise in inquiries by customers as to how long postage is taking and considering all the fires that are occuring i'm assuming it's because of that 🙂

Thank you, anaksa.  Thought I was a voice crying in the wilderness

for a while.   Someone up there even told me it was illegal to re-use stamps.

Der!!  Wish people would read the whole thread before throwing in comments.

I said, "if I could be bothered I could re-use" them. I know it's illegal!!

Dave,

I don't think the consequences of no tracking is important, if your

item is only worth $2.   I'm sure most people could cover that.
