im not 100% sure but my understanding is a seller can end a listing if more than 12 hours is still remaining on the listing even if bids are placed. but if no bids are placed then i dont know if you can end listing with less than 12 hours remaining. only way to find out is try if you cant maybe change item discription with sorry item no longer available please dont bid or something simlar. im sure someone will have better info or answer soon

If no bids have been placed at all, the seller can end the listing at any time.

A seller can also end a listing anytime even if there are bids placed.

You currently have bids on your listing. Please select one of the following options:
Cancel bids and end listing early
Once again YES you can

From the page I linked to..
Timing Matters
When there are 12 hours or less remaining and the item has a winning bid, including a reserve met bid, sellers cannot make any changes to the listing, including:
Ending the item early. Sellers may cancel bids, but not end the item unless the item is being sold to the high bidder.
I presumed the OP was asking about being able to end a listing with no bids because they don't want to / can't sell the item anymore, but I guess I should have mentioned you can only end it in the last 12 hours if the seller is selling to the highest bidder (you can't cancel the bids and then end).

(you can't cancel the bids and then end).
Yes you can cancel the bids and then end
What I showed you in my previous post was from one of my listings that has 3 hrs to go and all I had to do is proceed a bit further and I could have ended the listing.
