In the past year my sales have not been as good, like a lot of sellers, i believe.

For the past 9 days I have had no sales at all a first.

Is it just me or have the lights been turned off again ?

Evening All

With SMP, my sales were calculated at the stuff I sold.

With the new Seller Hub, postage is now included which makes it look better but most of my items cost less than the postage.

I signed up to Seller Hub when first offered - no sales for over a week when I might occasionally have one day a fortnight with no sales... I might have one $5 sale a day but it was still a sale...

I opted out and had one sale in three days, so opted back in and thought I'd give it longer.

Back to at least one small sale a day...

Last week I had $39 in sales (incl postage) for the whole week.

Today I have had $200 

So the Seller Hub graph has nothing or a small dot until today.

Another thing I noted was that feedback left on the Seller Hub is dated in US time.

I am not a business, just a hobby Seller.

I just got my ebay bill for the month - same as last month - $ 0 as in zero sales! I just can't find the incentive to list anything new! It's too disheartening!

I sold 2 listings on QS this week (one today!). I used to sell heaps per day there until they changed their format in April 2013; But just recently I've had a small flurry of sales of older listings of Aust pottery & glass, along with the odd craft listing. I've not listed anything new; Just relisted old stock. Most buyers are newbies is all I can say!

I'm happy for the sales; The Christmas parcels here may not be as lean as I thought if the sales there keep on going! I'm not pinning my hopes on ebay!

thank you for asking 1 sale in 12 days it is so disappointing this time of year is usually good. here's hoping things will pick up for all of us. My prices are good my feedback is excellent  I just don't know ? XX

Same here- I've had 1 sale now in about 13 days. Previous 13/14 days I would have had about 8/9 sales! - as you'd expect from previous lead ups to Xmas..Most retailers I know are having quite a good early leadup to Xmas. Just dont get it as as my sales were finally coming good again after a terrible early start to year. The fact that there was such a sudden drop off for many of us (not all I know, but many) makes me think that it's something with Ebay's tinkering. If we all (who's had a sudden drop off) sent a email to the Contact Us online help service, this weekend. Ebay might take notice that sooo many of us noticed a change for the worst about 2 weeks ago. They would be able to see it themselves from Seller Hub... showing are impressions down 40%. Mind you - Ive switched off Seller Hub & I now cant see how low my impressions are now. I do have another idea of what we could do to improve visibilities of our listings (If thats the problem!), I will try it & report back if it's worked -but probably wont know till tomorrow at earliest!!

I wouldn't say my sales are huge, but I'm getting them. Maybe the difference is that I run auctions, so aren't competing with the Chinese and big brand sellers in the Best Match rankings. Some of my items can be bought from China, but none of them can be bought from the big names like Good Guys or Dick Smith. I still believe that most buyers searching for auctions search by time ending soonest, or newly listed, rather than best match.

I haven't looked at the listings of anyone who's said sales have died a rapid death, but if they are things that can be bought from the big names, it wouldn't be helped by them constantly having 20% discount sales on specifically for them. It seems that every other day I'm getting an email regarding discounts sales with this large company, or that one.

Hopefully it picks up soon for everyone, especially those where this is their main source of income. This is why I'd never go full time on here. It's too volatile.

My sales have declined gradually over the past two years and about three months ago almost halted.  Two sales in the past month!!  And buyers are using all the tactics they've been handed; cancelling bids, etc.  My products fit into a niche market and are not carried by any major seller.  And I can't blame the Australian economy as normally about 60 percent of my sales are to overseas buyers.  Just don't know.   I have a lot in stock and it's just gathering dust.  Don't know what to do.

Same here, my Australian sales are grinding to a halt.I sell more overseas, If I sell anything at all.2 Years ago the sales mix was 20% overseas and 80 % local, now it is 80% overseas and 20 % local, maybe 2 sales a week on average.I thought October was see a pick up in sales but it did not.I spend most of my days now fending off unsolicited messages from buyers either wanting to make offers at 50% of the listed price ,even though those listings have no offer option, or buyers trying to buy and pick up items outside of e bay in an effort to get in the door and haggle me down on price, (That is not purchasing through the E bay platform, which we all know is against e Bay rules).I've been given more mobile phone numbers to ring than groupies give a rock star after a gig !! I have tried selling on other sites, bETSY, and even NZ trade me, but all I had was shop window 'Watchers' and no sales.To be honest I think the Australian economy is in worst shape than is reported.The world has the UK brexit in play and also has the USA election in progress as well, and those buyers that would be spending and now bunkering down and holding onto the $ dollar not knowing what is around the next corner.

Yes mine on both user names are almost stopped.I dont even check everyday .I am selling 1-3 items a month.It used to be about 10 which I was happy with.On one user name I for 3 months I sold one thing on the last day of each month.Something is going on with Ebay,Who knows what

Well -after my BIG drop off in sales (that were picking up) over the last 2 weeks.... Whooohoo I sold 2 things today!!!! Break out the beer, cheese & crackers !! Gonna have a PARTY! Maybe, just maybe ... whatever caused this latest stop to sales (Seller Hub?) has been fixed. Of course I'ved just now jinxed myself!! ( And that's for sure Tippytoes- cant rely on Ebay sales for a regular income stream as its' wayyyyy too up & down)- you need at least another way to sell!.
