is there a limit to how many ebay id's you can have?
I know that you need to have a new email address for each one but if you had 100 email addresses could you possibly have 100 IDs or does ebay limit it to a certain number per person/family/residence etc?

if they want to improve the AFL all they need to do is introduce a two-tier competition.
Tier One - the Elite - First Division - Premier League - Full Broadcast nationwide - CONSISTING OF ONLY VICTORIAN TEAMS
Tier Two - Second Division - No broadcasting in Vic - All other state's teams.

Well, no.....
Victoria doesn't have a mortgage on talent. All it would mean is all the good players move to Victoria, and the other States wouldn't have the incemtive or money to develop talent.
They used to have that system - it was called the VFL.
I am not against a 2 tier (or more) system, but it should work like European soccer - the bottom teams are relegated and replaced by the top teams from the next tier down.
If we had the population base to support it, which is doubtful.

Not sure if you are just poking the possum here joe but I,ll bite too. Our family has four ebay id,s and cant see how i could operate without all of them.
This Chameleon ID is mainly used for the boards. I started this after I accidently posted with one of my selling Ids a couple of years ago. I,m not sure exactly what happened but my account experienced some very strange activity for 12 months afterwards and something went viral. I actually put the account in holiday mode for three weeks to try to stop the unusual activity but this was unsuccesfull and cost me several $1000 in lost profits. Money I could not afford to lose at the time. I,m still not sure what happened, but suspect the account was put on a monitering list, perhaps of some international organisation. ( the account was getting huge numbers of views from OS ) It all sounds a bit bizzar and very conspiratorial I know, but something very strange happened. The boards are not always what they seem and it pays to be carefull.
The second ID is an established store which specialises in one market segment. It is one of the largest in its field in Australia and has built a market presence based on this specialty. ( this is the account that went viral ). If I sold my own personal junk in amongst the 1600 buy it now listings, it would look amaturish and spoil the proffesional look of the store. This ID sells to the general public and is in my name for tax purposes.
The third ID sells in a highly specialised field, that is slightly different to the other store. The client base for this store is all business operators, no private buyers. It has less listings than the larger store, but products are higher quality and sell at a much higher price point. This store attracts a completely different buyer demographic to the larger store. This ID is in my wifes name for tax purposes and provides effective, simple income splitting for tax. Having two seperate stores also avoids the need to register for GST.
The fourth ID is a personal account. Our family use the free listings and auctions to sell personal items from around the home and sheds. These sales are not subject to tax and having the figures mixed in with business accounts would complicate our taxation affairs. We also use the money from these sales to buy " stuff " off of ebay for personal use. I dont really want my business clients looking at the skimpy undies I bought for my mistress ( OK I,m dreaming now, but you get the point )
I cant see how having one ID could achieve the same results

joe knows all about multiple IDs and 'family IDs'. He has posted about having more than one ID himself back in May "just because I dont agree with having more than one Id , does not mean I only have I , and by the way ever heard of family Ids . lol have a nice day." and went on to say he has had 4 IDs, but now only uses one.
Poking the possum . . . . LOL . . . . . which end of the possum?

Very hard to believe that a somewhat very experienced poster would highjack a 3 year old thread and turn it into his own post.
You really need to look at your self Joe, and not use the boards to have a go at members.

Collingwood ? Is that one of those teams from the game where players run around in their little sister's shorts?

Joe, you have forgotten that the same members gave you the same answers about Private feedback and Private listings months ago.
Just because you have forgotten it does not mean that others have too.
You have also been told that there is nothing to stop you resurrecting old threads if you have something pertinent to add. In this case you did not add anything of value to the OP at all.
