I belive it is an ebay glitch across the Australian ebay pages
The lowest standard Auspost service is $9.70 up to 250gr
Buyers pay on some of my items (individually or combined) up to 250gr for $8.73 (97cents less)
$8.73 is the ebay discounted label price which offered to sellers if they want to purchase the label from eBay.
The listings and the checkout screens should show buyers $9.70
I searched on ebay and saw some sellers having the same issue..tons of listings with incorrect $8.73 postage
I belive the listings with calculated postage having this issue.

Hi, I have also been having this issue and have contacted eBay 3 times. First couple of times was told they are working with A.P.O. third time I told them that on all my listings you can see the correct postage BUT it's always crossed out and a NEW eBay discounted label price is given instead. So the correct
Price IS THERE just crossed out! I was refunded $10 but told it's just one off. They have escalated the issue and now waiting for them to call back.

It's just not good enough. This has been going on for far too long. They need to pull it until they can fix it properly.

I spent an hour on the online chat and then more than half hour on the phone to them yesterday (following 3 other long online chats with them since this all started earlier this month). The people I dealt don't seem to know anything about the issue. Online chat said they need to keep looking into and no timeframe as to when they can advise me back on resolution. On phone they kept reiterating that ebay charge for calculated postage is the lower amount so the actual Australia Post rate is not relevant. I highlighted the fact that the correct (and relevant!) price is showing but crossed out, but it appeared that they had no idea what I was talking about. It ended with them saying they would raise a complaint and then they advised that actually there was already a ticket raised so there was nothing else to do. If anyone who has successfully obtained reimbursements can suggest any tips for getting onto right team who are aware of this and managing the reimbursements, would love to hear!

Click on one of your items >>>> 3 dots (top of page)>>>>>report technical issue>>>>> you should get straight through to the ‘tech team’ and hopefully will receive a message

It appears the Ebay customer service crew have been given a new script to read this week with regards to international orders.
When I rang earlier this week - after already been given refunds on previous overseas orders - I was told those refunds were given out by mistake, as there is no problem with the postage charges. As mentioned before, they are now saying it's a problem with Australia Post and that I should be using Ebay labels. The person I spoke to was very arrogant about it, so much so, I had to ask to speak to a supervisor - I'm still waiting for the call-back.
I've double checked my postage-rate policies for international orders and it explicitly states prices based on the rates from 'Australia Post' - it even has the AP symbol.
Yet, Ebay are now using their own label prices when calculating the shipping and have done so without notice to the sellers.
We should be given the option of what carrier we wish to use and have the correct postage charged - it's that simple.

Sadly, twyn, I've tried that on a few occasions and have never got a reply 😞

So it seems the undercharging on [postage is here to stay. Looks like the only way around it, apart from fixed rate, is to up the handling cost. What a time waster this whole exercise has been and continues to be.

Just wondering if anyone has been in touch with ebay about this recently. Surely they're not going to leave it as it is.
