Paypal not working at checkout

HI,

I have been having issues with logging into paypal through the ebay checkout and has been happing since the beginning of May 2020.  I have cleared all cookies from all my internet browsers - Chrome, Firefox, & Internet Explorer, have even tried on my mobile and get the same message.

I have even turned off my Kaspersky and still have the same issue.  I have used paypal in other websites and works fine, it is only in ebay which makes me think the link from ebay to paypal is corrupt or some error in the script.

Can you please advise.

Message comes up as " We're Sorry, Looks like this action is not supported.  Please return and report his error so that we can support it in the future (invalid Client_ID or redirect_uri)"

Jemo, try clearing cookies and temp internet files and clear browser history then restart computer.

If on your mobile also, it's probably a PayPal/eBay glitch.

It has been an ongoing problem on and off so if it's still problematic, try again tomorrow.

I have tried all that - and still no good.  Its been going on since the Beginning of May every singel day I try.

Sometimes I get through and sometimes I can't.

I believe it is a Script error on Ebays side, cause I can use paypal with other websites.  If it was my side it would do it on all webpages.

Have you done a Malware and virus scan ?  I haven't had any issues with paying on eBay with Paypal, I'm using Firefox on a desktop with Windows 10.

I'm using Firefox and Chrome with Win 8.

I also don't have any issues, so maybe it's something in your settings.

Maybe your anti-virus is overzealous. Who knows. The clear cache and cookies AND reboot your computer is still the probable fix.

Cache has been cleared a number of times.  I have turned the virus scanner off and still have the same issue.  I can;'t even pay it on my phone so it can't be my settings on the computer.  Sometimes I can pay after I close the screen a thousand times and then it will let me pay one item at a time for a few goes and then nothing again for a few thousand times of openning and closing the screen.

Computer is shut down and restarted every day, and this happens everyday after i turn it on.

I have even tried it on a another computer that runs Firefox and still has the same issue.

I have tried it on Internet Explorer 11, Firefox (latest Version). & Chrome (latest Version).  I am running WIndows 7 but should not have any impact as I mentioned in my earlier replies I can use paypal login through other websites fine, its only when I use Ebay.

Looks like i am going to have to shut ebay account down and purchase my stuff elsewhere if this isn't resolved.

I have tried all the tricks under the sun - even taken off ad blockers etc, even add the urls into as the trusted site.

Fustrating and annoying it is.

HI All,

Ebay must have fixed the issue as it seems to be working again without any issues.  I didn't do anything, just left the computer and stopped using Ebay for a week and seem to have fixed itself.  As mentioned in my earlier messages it was only when I was in ebay that I had issues, I could use paypal in any other webpage and had no issues.

So I say ebay must have fixed the issue.

Everything seems to be working again.
