Purchased an AU Portable 6880 Ah Car Jump Starter Power Bank 4USB Backup Booster Charger 12V in 2017. The unit was charged and recently when trying to use it to start a boat motor it was discovered the wiring connection is incorrect and/or the device is missing the connection between the power pack unit and the battery clamps. The same applies to the tyre pump device ie. at the end of both the battery clamps and tyre pump unit there is a dual 2 female pin connection with no way of connecting them to either unit. I realise this goes back to the purchase in last half of 2017 and only recently it was needed in an emergency situation. Could you please advise how these units can be connected as I believe there is a cable(s) missing or they are not designed to Australian standards. I look forard to your response. I recently purchased a VCR from a seller on eBay. I received the VCR and when testing item it failed to work (original listing claimed to work). This is the first time this has happened to me (been on eBay since 2005) I contacted the seller and they have agreed to send a replacement and do not want the original item returned due to postage costs. A replacement unit was sent yesterday, but no tracking number provided. All communications have been polite and pleasant and through the eBay message system. The seller appears very reputable (100% positive feedback), but I have some friends saying that I should open a case with eBay as if a replacement unit doesn't arrive I am not protected. Is the eBay correspondence with the seller sufficient protection if I need claim a refund later (how long do I have to claim a refund), or do I need to open a case with eBay? In case it matters the item was purchased through PayPal. Regards, Brickle.

Dear eBay, Along with so many other offers/vouchers, I received a 10% off post Christmas voucher along with a corresponding code that I could use on any item. Earlier this week, I went through with potentially purchasing an item and put in the code, for the first time, to see if it would actually work. However, due to budget constraints, I changed my mind at the last moment. I initially too wanted to see if it would work. The code was valid until the 16th January and I hoped to genuinely use it before that time after my next pay day. However, your initial email offering the discount has genuinely disappeared. I assume that may be a process after the code is used, however I did not use it. For the life of me, the email offer has ceased to exist. Please check my purchase details and it wil verify I have not used the discount yet. Therefore, I write to ask please that this 10% discount be reinstated since I genuinely want to purchase an item before mid-January. I think we all know that there's no such thing as a free lunch and postage is exactly the same as it's factored into the asking price of an item. Basically "Free Postage" is a false and misleading statement and it should be changed to "Postage Included".

I will never use "Click and Collect" again. eBay say seller provided tracking. Yes after I had waited almost a week after an item was due to arrive and I asked where it was. It was supposed to be delivered to Woolworth's pre-Christmas as I was busy at work and click and collect always worked before. The seller claimed the item was posted and delivered. According to Woolworths they never received and as such I never received an email or text message. The receiver according to the tracking information is not a Woolworths employee. So eBay rules are it would be returned to the seller after not being picked up. I asked the seller if he received it back. No response to that question. So $60 out of pocket. A month down the drain waiting for an item that didn't turn up. Seemingly because the address I gave was Woolworths and the seller supposedly delivered it .............. but it didn't get to me !! eBay response. "We're sorry you had a problem with your purchase. However, the seller provided tracking information that shows the item was delivered to your address." (I don't live at Woolworth's). "After reviewing all the details of this case, we've determined that you won't receive a refund."

I ordered a book through eBay from within the same state as which I live. It had an estimated delivery of about 3 weeks, but I expected it sooner. After two weeks of not receiving it, I contacted the seller, with no response. I waited until the end of the estimated delivery time and when I did not recieve the item, I requested a refund, which eBay declined as the seller provided a tracking number (which I had missed earlier). The tracking number indicated the parcel was delivered to the same suburb in which I live, so I called the postal service. The postal service was able to tell me that the item was sent to someone else and at a completely different address, which made me suspicious that the seller provided me with a fake tracking number. The postal service would not provide me with the address or name of the person it was sent to, stating it was a breach in confidentiality. The postal service could only provide me with a statement to say that the item was delivered to the correct address it was intended, just not to me. This was not enough evidence for eBay to provide me with a refund. This made me really upset, because it seems as I have been scammed. I am attempting to get a refund from PayPal, but am concerned that they will have the same response as Ebay. What can a buyer do in this situation???? I am nervous about buying on ebay in future!!!

I bought Item that is not original one but it should be original and brand new (no warranty, no box, no manual and after I checked with original one from store weight and all labels are different, logo is different, moreover it's in poor condition lots of screatches and logo is fading already. Now Seller is telling me that if I want a full refund I have to send it back on my own cost and once he will receive it he will pay me back for the product excluding shipping fee. I don't believe that it is fair as I was scammed. this seller is selling a lot of thease products and there were already few complains in terms of authenticity. What should I do in that case now? I have lots of photos showing that it is fake

Supplier supplied an item that took 11 days to arrive. It shows an Australia Post label but a return address in Suite 32, Level 3, Building 4B, Lord Street, Botany. 2019. I have issues with this item and have contacted the supplier regarding the misleading description of the item. The second order took 14 days to arrive and has a similar Australia Post label and exactly the same return address in Botany. Investigation reveals that both of these suppliers are based outside Australia. I suspect that these items were both posted from China. Perhaps this is a method to avoid GST?? I do not deal with mainland China due to issues in the past. Both of these suppliers listings appear to be legitimate Australian suppliers when they are clearly not. I did order another item from a legitimate Australian supplier based in Sydney and the item of similar size took only 7 days. Another item ordered from an Australian supplier also based in Sydney, took only two days to arrive.

It would appear Ebay has stopped buyers giving negative feedback. A few months ago I had a seller threaten myself and my wife with violence 42 emails containing filthy language simply because I asked politely if he could send the other half of an order I'd made and paid for. It involved the police and Enay told it was grounds for banning the seller. I didn't wish to go down that road so I left negative feedback. Within an hour that feednack had vanished and I couldn't leave anything. A few days ago I received a camera which was sold as used but had a broken glass lens protector. The camera arrived and was dead. I trmoved the cover which had been removed previously and found the control board has been subjected to water. It was definitely beyond repair plus I noticed the display connection bus had been broken, obviously done when whoever opened it previously. I contacted the seller and told her there was no way it could have been working just prior to listing. I've been in the repair business long enugh to know when someone is pulling a fast one. After getting a reply full of insults and another full of fould language instead of asking for a refund I decided to leave begative feedback and it's been removed by Ebay. Neither feedback remarks used bad language, threats or insults, just simple facts. Why has Ebay been removing them with no mention of it to me. Weren't the two cases worthy of negative feeback? If so I'd hate to see whatever does deserve a negative. One other thing, it appears we can't even contact Ebay any more, all you get is instructions to come here and of course nobody here can do anything except reply. I've spent over $1,000 in the last few weeks and I'm fed up with getting faulty goods which is supposed to be fully working. Thankfully the other sellers were very friendly and without hesitation gave me a refund without even asking for one.
