I purchased a pair of Earforce Stealth 450 wireless headphones by turtle beach from EB Games  on EBay on or around 11 June 2018, and want to have them repaired or replaced under the warrantee for it as the charger input on the headphone no longer works and I am unable to charge it any more.   Who do I contact and who do I send the headphones to in order to get them fixed or replaced?   I was talking via ebay messages with someone from ebgamesaustralia called Mary who said she would email me a "Post Return Label", but I have not received it, or heard further from Mary since 26 March despite writing three further messages.   I tried emailing EBGames customer service directly but received no response at all. I rang them and was immediately placed on hold and was never answered even after waiting for half an hour.   Is there any provision on ebay, or paypal, to handle warrantee problems? ... View more

I recently purchased a wall art that I'm really happy with. But the seller took 2 weeks to post it which i found annoying and frustrating.   I'm a member of Ebay Plus, as is the seller, and as I've elected to pay a fee - I expect to receive my purchases in a timely manner.    Does this entail leaving a maybe neutral feedback? My son bought some items off ebay today using his ebay account, paid for it on a saved debit card which has been used to make purchases before, and everything appeared to be ok.   5 minutes later, the purchase history has marked everything unpaid, even though the debit card transactions show the funds have been deducted. Now ebay have cancelled the order - without refunding the money.    We can't even contact the seller(s) because we get a page saying "sorry, something went wrong"   What can we do to sort this out? ... Hi, all. I recently bought an item which has not arrived several weeks past the estimated delivery date. I opened a "item not received" case and the seller responded that apparantly the post office were experiencing delays. I have no reason not to believe that and have no issues waiting some more.   However the seller has offered to send me another item for free if I agree to close the case first. I did a quick search and it seems it is a bad idea to close a case like this before actually receiving the item. The seller has messaged me again, saying that keeping the case open is really harming their store.   I do not want to harm their business. The seller does not seem dodgy to me. Should I close the case before receiving the item? If I keep the case open until I receive the item do I harm them in some way? ... View more

I was looking to buy a vernier calliper guage. My search gave a number of options ranging from about $2.99 but on choosing one of these it turns out that the price is not for a calliper but an adapter. This is misleading and the seller should be admonished for this behaviour.  This is unethical and possibly illegal under Australian law. Please be kind enough to check on this seller. He/she shows a picture of a digital vernier gauge. This picture is shown in a red square with white background and an Austalian flag in the top right corner. At least one of these pictures will be shown including link to ebay when doing a google search. I have attached a copy of part of the google search page and you can see the picture on the left hand side of the page at the top. I recently won a 7 day auction (I was the only bidder) for a low value item coming from the UK and paid for it promptly. The seller has since cancelled the order. I realise this happens on occasion though there should be a very good reason which should be passed on to the buyer. I'm more than a bit disappointed with the seller's communication where she states that she's "unable" to sell it to me which seems a bit odd. Perhaps I'm making too much out of how the message was phrased, but would have expected something more than that - it's damaged, lost etc.The item was up for auction for 7 days so seller should have been aware of its availability during that time - seems odd to cancel only after payment. I'm wondering if posting international was too much bother. So I have 2 questions: 1. should I ask seller for more details 2. should I report seller for the cancellation 3. I'm tempted to leave negative feedback, or neutral at the very most. Transaction ID REMOVED   In October 2018 I purchased a battery, item ID  REMOVED  which I returned in November.  The battery, return ID REMOVED, was posted back to the seller on 5/11/18 and delivered by APO at 1.00pm on 9/11.  The deadline set by the seller was 13/11.  Initially Ebay rejected my claim for a refund claiming I missed the deadline.  When I disputed the decision the matter was referred to Paypal who, to the present moment, are stalling on the matter of a refund, asking constantly for more information but not progressing my claim.  The latest email advises me to contact the seller.  Why should I have to contact the seller?  If there is absolutely no other way to advance my claim could you supply me with the address details.  The seller supplied me with the following address in order to return the battery:-   Receiver Zhoujun Li Unit 2/38 - 40 Little Boundary Rd Laverton North Victoria 3026 RMAA001-181103-0006   I have previously supplied you with a copy of the APO receipt and tracking number which supports my claim that the battery actually was posted and delivered within the prescribed time. Seller was paid for item that he never had and never delivered, which was then followed up by a fictitious Startrack Tracking no. 1VCZ00008973, confirmed by Startrack to be non-existent This was supposedly a replacement item for the first. I suspect it was his way of getting the open call closed. Again no goods received. Seems like a lot of hassle for $160.   That was supposed to be sent by Fastway couriers who show that the item was delivered to and signed for by me - again, utter nonsense. I have 6 witnesses to attest t this fact. It was in actual fact delivered/returned/never sent/ to BEST POOL SUPPLES, whom I isubsequently contacted and was informed that it was a scam. Ebay themselves have chosen to ignore these facts and said no refund ,case closed, without explanation. I have of course appealed the decision, but feel there will be no justice done by the anonymous,faceless culture that is ebay.  A claim has also been made with PayPal - case still under review.   So, apart from going on all the social media sites to vent my frustration,what next??   My answer to my Fastway query: our enquiry  has been updated. I recently purchased a VCR from a seller on eBay.  I received the VCR and when testing item it failed to work (original listing claimed to work).   This is the first time this has happened to me (been on eBay since 2005)   I contacted the seller and they have agreed to send a replacement and do not want the original item returned due to postage costs.  A replacement unit was sent yesterday, but no tracking number provided.   All communications have been polite and pleasant and through the eBay message system.    The seller appears very reputable (100% positive feedback), but I have some friends saying that I should open a case with eBay as if a replacement unit doesn't arrive I am not protected.    Is the eBay correspondence with the seller sufficient protection if I need claim a refund later (how long do I have to claim a refund), or do I need to open a case with eBay?  In case it matters the item was purchased through PayPal.   Regards,   Brickle. ... I will never use "Click and Collect" again. eBay say seller provided tracking. Yes after I had waited almost a week after an item was due to arrive and I asked where it was. It was supposed to be delivered to Woolworth's pre-Christmas as I was busy at work and click and collect always worked before. The seller claimed the item was posted and delivered. According to Woolworths they never received and as such I never received an email or text message. The receiver according to the tracking information is not a Woolworths employee. So eBay rules are it would be returned to the seller after not being picked up. I asked the seller if he received it back. No response to that question.   So $60 out of pocket. A month down the drain waiting for an item that didn't turn up. Seemingly because the address I gave was Woolworths and the seller supposedly delivered it .............. but it didn't get to me !!   eBay response. "We're sorry you had a problem with your purchase. However, the seller provided tracking information that shows the item was delivered to your address."  (I don't live at Woolworth's).
