this looks just like the jpg I referred to, no need to click on my links as the points I referred to are on the image in the above post. This looks like the 'Advertisement' eBay put out there for many to see.

Yes, I received the offer and confirmation too.
However I was confused as to the terms and conditions as there was the 10% promotion happening as well that had different terms and conditions.
In any case, IMO the way the promotion was conducted will not stand up to scrunity by relevant watchdog, if investigated.
But thats just my opinion.... what would I know ??

About as much as everyone else knows about this fiasco catspjs.
A really bad situation all round IMO. I feel sorry for all the sellers who are getting NPBs because buyers will not complete the transaction without the voucher.

hi everyone,
I too fell for eBay's $10 off CMOB3 scam and was utterly shocked they could get away with this.
I paid for my items when the voucher didn't work because I did not want the seller to suffer. Having contacted eBay and threatened them with ACCC and Consumer Affairs action, I received a reply today advising I would be able to receive a refund of $10 within 5-7 business working days via Paypal. Upon further contact, I have now been told by another eBay representative, it will actually take 12 weeks. Are they having a laugh?
I'm await their response whether refund is due in 5-7 business working days or 12 weeks. I'm def going to contact Consumer Affairs and ACCC in regards to this. This behaviour is not on.
