I'm one of those who don't care for any Announcement. I buy a lot of cheap items here almost 5 days a wk. So you can imagine my eyes popping out when each transaction, say 10 items, on top of it was added $10-20. I cancel my CC long time ago because these tiny cents charges are a no no with me. Looking at my bank statement, terriying too because these GST was charged after these items i bought from eBay. Not happening MAD AS HELL Goodbye eBay.

I have been called many things; thankfully most of them have been pleasant sobriquets, although I’m sure that “princess” was meant ironically (as I really don’t recall that I was wearing a tiara at the time).
I think that I've been called comrade (but I can’t recall by whom); mate; lady; madame; dearie; darl’; darling; sweetheart; your honour... I think my least favourite must be darl’. It somehow grates my teeth to think of it, although I am sure it was intended with kindness and in a cheerful spirit.
Of course, it might have been doll said in an American accent...

I suppose you could say, "By tengri! I'm no member of the ordu, and Attila is no kin of mine!"
But the chances of your new neighbour actually speaking any Hunnish is probably not very high. It's a pity - so few sources for the Hunnic language...

My new neighbour calls everyone darling. 😞 When I first met them she called me that and said she calls everything darling because she can't remember their names. I'd just prefer she didn't call me anything. What I really hate is people calling others "hun" in some groups. If anyone calls me that I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from saying something.
I'm shocking with names, so I call everybody 'mate', mate.
Or buddy, if you're a knight.

Whoah, hang on a minute k1ooo-slr-sales , I WAS NOT being disrespectful and how dare you throw that at me!
YES, you were. I had asked politely for you not to refer to me as “my friend” or “amigo”, so you come back with “cobber”, either in an attempt to goad me, OR, in a juvenile attempt to be funny (or a smart-rrrr’s). Either way, it was disrespectful . . . . . . and you not seeing that (IN BOLD CAPS TOO) says volumes about your posting here.
I call people mate cobber etc on often occasion and you have no call to come at me with that.
And if we socialised in real life I would accept that, but I think I have every right to come at you with that as it has no place here on these forums once I alert you to it. I am happy to go toe-to-toe with you on topics such as GSP, GST etc, but it should be done in a respectful manner. I am happy for you to let me know if or when I cross a line.
And FYI, up until a short while ago, I thought of you as a kind of an allright sort of bloke (assuming I'm right there)
Well, that is one thing you got right in your post, I am male. I also thought that, despite our differences, that you too were “okay”, but some of your recent board activity has had me questioning that.
Credibility or no credibilit in your eyes, my referring to Howard as a garden gnome was the kindest thing I could call him. He is not a PM in my eyes, and never was! And certainly not a good man either. Malcolm Fraser disconnected himself from the Libs and part of the reason why was his disgust at the racist bigotry within.. The point I was trying to make about that so-called PM was that I could call him what Crean, Latham and Brown called him, but the GN tag was a lot milder. That's all!
For all his faults surely you can see that former PM John Howard did achieve some good during his time in politics/government? And calling him the names used by others would be equally childish and disrespectful.
My name is not Richard!
If you say so . . . . . .
