I tried to log onto sentrelink and it said it's unavailable until tomorrow.

but i wont be getting it anyway because joe hasnt been diagnosed yet and centerlink dont know anything about it yet.

ring centrelink tomorrow and ask them to send you the forms out for carers and have them put on your file an "intention to claim for carers allowance" they will then have to back date it and you just might get it.Thats what we did last year and we got the stimulis and back pay of carers for Darcy.

Forgot to put in that they backdate up to 12 weeks so that should help out a lot.

my mum just rang and told me that there is an article about government assistance package to the value of $3000 for ASD kids in the Sunday Paper, possibly on the 2nd page - but very early in the paper (You have to make allowances for my mum - she is 80 and doesn't always have the same priorities that I do. She thinks that I have time to go through every section of the paper looking for what is possibly some tiny article - but her heart is in the right place)

Anyway - she couldn't remember which paper - but...I live on the Gold Coast in Qld - so I am guessing it was the Sunday Mail - available in Brissy too

Isn't this a bit strange? At the top of each post the date and time shows:

isn't today the 14/06/2009?

Shouldn't the date at the top of each post read the date and time it was posted???
