Computer help please

I ask on this forum because it is a small problem and I am sure there is someone here who can help.  Please.

Somehow I have clicked somewhere and bu gg ered something up.

I can no longer do emoticons, emoticons have disappeared from my past posts, and do not show in other people's posts.  The folder icons down the left of the thread titles have disappeared.  Any icons at all are missing, the stars which accompany peoples' feedback score, the button to kudos someone is black.  A few other things. 

So it something to with icons.  Show icons/ images, or block icons etc.  I can find nothing in my settings that has anything to do with it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you accidently changed your page setting to show text only? 

Is it all sites or just this one?

I don't go elsewhere, my red star is there on My Ebay summary page.  Where is the show text only setting?

I suspect it is just this one.

I meant in your computer settings but if the star is visible next to your name it's not that.

It might be site or ebay servers/network. I notice that some of my ebay icons are coming and going.

Above, where the emoticons usually are, you have Rich Text then HTML and Preview next.

Click on Rich Text.

You most likely clicked on HTML.

 But you can still see the other emoticons if you post in the HTML view.  

Or am I confused? I thought the other emoticons had all disappeared for the OP  😄

Click on Reply and click on HTML. The whole toolbar will disapear.
