I suppose during strict lockdown there will be a resurgence of interest in hobbies and pastimes, catching up on long neglected house maintenance tasks etc etc - is there provision for acquisition of non-essential items , that could be considered critical for such worthy activities ?

Has Eddie commented on the recent case involving Collingwood's coach playing tennis with Alicia Molik?
Or is it different when it's the Magpies?

Most of those are cases from the last few weeks where they most likely have been infected by someone that is/was asymptomaic that may have been missed via contact tracing and hasn't come forward due to lack of symptoms.
That basically means they picked it up on public transport or shopping for groceries, most likely from asymptomatic person who was never tested, and have no idea they had it.
Or because some wont let authorities know where they have been or they have lied as to where they have been because they are selfish.
750 people with bad memories ?
Not likely just people that have no idea they were possibly infected by someone that had/shown no symptoms so were never tested and had no idea they infected others.
So basically someone who was asymptomatic who could've walked past and infected a dozen people and no one would've had any idea that's were they got the infection from.

They could be asked where they had visited and when , then the investigators can view enhanced public security video and facial recognition - might rope in more than nessessary but ....

You mean that you think it would be possible to spend the time tracing movements of several thousands of people over the previous 2 weeks and identify every person they came across?!!! How many man hours would that take? And there are many places where there are no cameras. You could follow the person on various cameras wherever they went, and find every person they passed, yet not find the one person who they happened to interact with somewhere where there was no camera.
The phone ap supposed to do that, but somehow does not seem to be working.

Daily? Then make them self-isolate until the results come through? Then test them again and make them self-isolate, then...
It would certainly solve the problem of coronavirus in aged care facilities. There wouldn't be any residents of aged care after a few days of no care, no food, no water, no essential medication.
Good idea. Problem solved. After all they've already had a good life and are now a drain on the system.
