Hi, I opted to renew my Ebay plus membership due to the offer of a $30 voucher by Ebay, I did not get any notification the voucher is available to me till I contacted customer service. Then I was sent the voucher on my ebay messages, it had the term that it was valid for 30 days and the minimum spend was $50. I tried to use it to purchase an item over $50, however the voucher code didn't work. I then contact customer service who advised they need to escalate this to the relevant team and get back to me. No one got back to me and the voucher expired, after contacting ebay multiple times, they have the same answer as it needs to be escalated to the relevant team. Two months later, after 5-6 attempts to in contacting Customer Service I was advised that ebay isn't able to reissue the voucher and that I tried to use it to purchase something that does not meet the terms and conditions. This is extremely frustrating as if that was the case, someone could have advised me this before the voucher had expired, however there was no engagement from Ebay about this. I feel that they are not honoring the customers renewal properly and give us a clear indication on what is covered and what is not. Does anyone know how to launch a formal complaint about this with Ebay?
