I paid for the item to only then recieve a message from them hours later stating they had made a mistake and the free shipping was only meant for US customers. Do i have any rights here? She has offered to either charge me the new postage or cancel the order, in that time another listing from a different seller has already been sold, so I have missed out. The shipping cost she is quoting is $56 USD so I would love to know whether I am entitled to my purchase with free shipping despite her error

I am new here so am after some advice. Can I send an invoice on an unbought item? Buyer wants to buy an item but I need to adjust the postage. Do I get them to buy first and then send an invoice with a revised postage? Thx in advance.

A buyer has asked me if she can have her item send by Click and Collect from Woolworths, after she has paid. How do I go about this? I don't quite understand this method of shipment.

I have an item that sold to a buyer in the USA. Trying to send an invoice from Australia requires a postage option but no option adds a postage cost. The system won't let me do it manually, so how do I invoice with a different postage amount? Regards Russell

postage for a simple paperback from america to australia is often listed at over $20 US. the same book from europe would be less than $8 Why???

So, I ship several packages a week from Australia to international markets and everything I ship is small metal parts that take at least 50% longer to get through customs and Homeland security that eBay predicts for the customer. As a result of this the customer raises a claim and the money is refunded. Customer gets the goods several weeks later and has the item and his money back. EvilBay says I should supply a tracking number but tracking for international items adds more to the postage cost than the goods are worth. Am I the only one with this problem? On occasions a customer raises a complaint, the goods arrive, they tell me the goods arrived but then they never close the issue so the money gets refunded. Due to at least four instances of this I have lost my seller status. Trying to contact eBay to resolve issues is impossible as the people on the phone - when they finally answer - tell me the case was closed in the customers favour and even a message saying that they received the goods makes no difference? What sort of crroks run this place? I have had to cancel three sales to one international customer as there is no deliverable address and even this has helped me lose my seller status. I received an email today (Wednesday) stating that a parcel I ordered through eBay (in the UK, to be sent to an address in Australia) was delivered on Monday. The parcel was sent to my father (who isn't on the internet), so I called him to find out whether he had received it, but he hasn't. We're a bit concerned that the parcel was delivered to the wrong address, so are trying to find out who to contact. It's not clear from the tracking details who the local delivery partner is, and I've already made a few calls trying to find out, but to no avail. We'd like to see if we can work out what went wrong from our end before we apply to get our money back. Any ideas? I've spoken to Toll and FedEx, but neither of them know anything about it.

Hi I am waiting on two items in the mail currently. The email from DHL Global seems a scam as when downloaded the file attached I am unable to open it, had downloaded various apps on my windows 10 platform and the file will not open. My local post office has said that the email is a scam.Have replied to the email address with no reply this is what the original email to me states: Ok.... Can anyone shed some light on this? and as you can see my post code and State is there and is correct and the local post office says that it is likely to be a scam Also whom can I contact at eBay. Because of the public holidays recently is it sensible enough to say that clearing a parcel through customs will take longer than usual? My tracking through ups says "Upon successful customs clearance, your parcel will be given to (example) Couriers who we use for local delivery to your address. Their tracking number is " ETC That was on: Mon. 2 Jan The expected delivery date ebay has provided was yesterday, but parcel seems to be held up at Customs. Postage was free. Where to from here / what can I expect? M A N Y T H A N K S ^

Ok a quick question from me, i was speaking to a buyer who intends to sell soon. And we got into how long we have as a seller to take a parcel to our nearest post office. i normally post within 24 hours, she was saying she may take anywhere between 1 day and 7 days to get to post office to mail out parcel. How long does ebay/paypal give us to take a parcel to post office? Thanks for any answers

I sold a saddle to a buyer in Australia. I used the GSP in Erlanger, KY to ship item to Australia. It was my understanding the GSP center would take care of necessary Customs forms for overseas shipping. Now item is held up at Customs in Australia due to missing declaration forms. They may destroy the item. I've entered a resolution case with ebay and they resolved the matter by saying they would refund the buyer. The buyer would prefer to have the saddle delivered, rather than get a refund. How can I help get the saddle released from Customs and delivered? I have emailed the carrier (DAIKEB) to see what can be done. I feel so bad for the buyer; she really wants this saddle.

Hello, I have bought an item and the sller shipped it using GSP. The last tracking info says that the item has been shipped to the international destination from KY: "Shipped from the Global Shipping Center to International Destination" Now this was 6 days ago, I suppose the item has at least reached Europe, is there a way to find out what's going on?

I bought an item that has postal tracking. It was delivered to my letterbox but was stolen. I have photo proof (From Auspost) that it was placed in letterbox but I didn't hear delivery van. I checked in the afternoon for my regular mail check but nothing was inside my letterbox. Can I make a claim about stolen goods? One of my kids will be upset that they won't be getting their xmas present. This is the 1st time something I've ordered through Ebay that hasn't arrived.

Hello fellow shoppers. Let me ask how many of you have lost items because Global Shipping / Pitney Bowes? I have recently had 3 pieces of antique/vintage Uranium Glass and my daughter 1, confiscated. One seller told me she has had 3 pieces taken from her in a week. Any one is more than welcome to look up a Uranium glass bowl and salad servers, a very old antique oil lamp font, (both purchased in England) a Fenton Ware custard uranium glass Vase and another small uranium glass vase. (both purchased in the USA) The message I received is that Uranium glass is deemed unsafe! Why is it unsafe? It is glass! It has been around for hundreds of years to colour glass. It is not in bomb making form! I have spoken to both eBay and a representive from Global Shipping, but to no avail. I have lodged a complaint with eBay but once agian, I have not had a reponse. Let me say, I have been reimbused for the items I purchased but, I purchased the items because Uranium Glass is what I collect. How many pieces of history have supposedly been destroyed? Are they destroyed or will Pitney Bowes have a major auction one day to sell all the confiscated matter? HELP HELP HELP. HOW CAN WE STOP THIS MADNESS? Where does eBay allow suce a "Dangerous Product" to be sold in the first place? Why is it impossible to lodge a complaint and get the problem sorted once and for all? Regards, Greenpossum23.
