I fail to see how an item such as , Item: 321197502896 can cost $ 88.00 to buy and $ 890.00 to post, can anyone enlighten me as to how this can happen surely its wrong! who would pay that much for a cheap item. I was under the impression that this tactic was against ebay rules! and how could the seller expect the item the sell anyway?

I have recently purchased an item from US seller. The seller did not upload tracking number in order details but sent via message. I checked the number with USPS and it came up that item had arrived some domestic destinations in US. I asked seller and he said he only posted the item to the ebay global shipping program. For further tracking details I would need to contact ebay. However I have waited for few days, there were still nothing coming up in the tracking number empty space. I'm wondering what should I do? or where I could find the tracking details for the ebay global shipping program??

Hi. I recently pought and paid for Itemno. 221271343171. Unbeknown to me the seller was selling via global e bay On request I send my postal address in Australia to the seller in Kentucky USA to attach to his parcel being send to the Kentucky drop off station. Now the Seller wrote ,I have to contact this global Center in Kentucky directly to pass on my australian E bay Address. How do I do that. Please help. Thank you out there.

Please Help! Bid and won a beautiful ring on the 26th July 2013. Paid for international shipping and it was suppose to arrive around the 16th of August. It has not arrived here yet and the last record of it on the tracking system has it as "Delivered" on 1st August in ERLANGER,KY (?!) Have contacted the seller - but, they don't seem to believe me that I haven't received the ring yet - because of the "delivered" message for Erlanger. Tracking states that it is being handled by multiple carriers and the tracking time line shows that it is "Still in transit". Also, the seller doesn't seem to believe that I paid $28.04 US for shipping, when they only received $3.98 US for shipping (I have Paypal etc documentation to show that I really did pay $28.04 US). I'm sure the seller thinks I'm telling tall tales about everything - which is most distressing. I'd just like the ring to arrive and no undue stress is placed upon anyone. If anyone please could help me with this matter, I would be most grateful. Thank you.

I know it's "buyer beware", but when I bid for and won an item (using ebay app on my iphone) I didn't see that the seller wouldn't deliver for at least a month. I messaged him and asked when he could send it and he replied "Whenever I get a day off work or go sick, I'm crazy busy at work - it could take up to a month". When I asked if I could pick up the item because it's half an hour away from me in Sydney he said no, he never allows pick-ups. Apart from telling me "I should have carefully read the shipping and handling details (which I didn't see on my phone) is there anything else I can do?"

The supplier ships internationally but doesn't quote a shipping cost to Australia. He suggests I place the order and that ashipping cost quote will be displayed in PayPal. However the eBay page indicates that if I commit to buy, I'll have to pay whatever shipping cost is subsequently added to the seling price of the product. How can I find out what the shipping cost is before I commit to buy? Thanks for any help. Chris

I bought a few things on the 9th of August, checked back to see if my things have been shipped, which they have. But I looked at my information and I entered my postcode wrong! it begins with 5 but I placed 4, the rest of my address is right but will the postcode affect where my things are shipped?

Not sure how this works...! Before e-Bay Australia changed to postal policies at the beginning of August I had set up my International postal discounts e.g 1st item at $20 and each additional item at $9 (to USA) - with different rate for various regions. When the e-bay changes were made none of the discounts I had set up were available any longer - only an each price (e.g. $20 for each one and no postal discount!!!) Have searched for how to reinstate but doesn't seem to be any facility. The facility I want IS there for domestic postage discounts - but not International!! Can anyone assist???

Customer not happy with extra fee after postage is given. Fee was for post pack and handling - an extra $2.45. Post pack was $2.10. Where do you have to display this, as I do not recall anywhere that says you have to put it up front. Given that you do not know where parcel is going, it is hard to do this.

i recently purchased a dress by auction. postage was listed as standard parcel $7.95. when it arrived, item was in white document envelope (large letter) with postage paid $1.80. the dif being $6 give or take so i sent message to seller whose explanation was.... "sometimes it costs me MORE than amount on invoice and i cant get the extra from those sellers"... i responded that this wasnt my problem and pls refund the difference. seller then said she didnt have time for my long-winded messages and if i return the dress, she will refund when she gets it. my qu is "am i being petty wanting the unused portion of the postal charge refunded?" i take umbridge at being told that MY overcharge makes up for HER inability to exact correct post from her other buyers.

Hi, I just received an item I won on auction. At time of payment I was charged $8.50 postage. On arrival of my parcel it was post marked $1.80, a differences of $6.70. Additional the envelope was used, turned inside out and stapled and taped back together. The garment inside was placed in crumpled used 'parcel post' bag. I have contacted the seller (politely) and she maintains that the postage cost is part of the overall item cost (even thought I won this through auction). Am I being unreasonable about my complaint or am I due a refund? Help please !!!

I have sold an item that the buyer claims has broken in transit. I have clearly stated that I do not accept refunds. What are my obligations? I did not offer insurance, nor did the buyer request it.

I recently bought an item from a seller located in Australia. I wrote to him before I bid for the item. He AGREED to ship to me at cost if I can find the shipping cost from Australia to Singapore. Actual shipping cost for Australia Post is $18.45. I propose to use Australia Post's Pack-And-Track- International. This service is secured and with tracking. Weight of parcel should be about 300+ gram. Item is a sunglass with box. I want to buy something in the United States and I want to deliver it to a California address (for personal reason),I have made contact with the seller and denied selling the item to me as my shipping address is in Australia. My question is: Can I change my postal address temporarily just to purchase the item/s ,once its been processed and shipped, I will replace my address back to my Australian postal address back.
