3 weeks ago I made 10 or so purchases on eBay with 2 Sellers. I paid all but 4 of them immediately as I almost always do.(see my feedback pages).
1) Living in an area with no ADSL I am forced to use a poor 3G wireless broadband service running at less than dialup speed for most of the Xmas/New Year period.
2) Before I could pay the remaining 4 items, my connexn dropped out for the umpteenth time that day. I determined to try again the next day, and was unable to secure a reasonable connxn.
3) Then, New Years Eve I was hospitalised after a blackout resulting in a serious fall. (Alcohol was NOT involved). I was rushed to hospital by ambulance and awoke next day to a bad case of concussion, a badly sprained ankle and damaged ligament/cartiledge in my right knee.
4) After release from hospital I tried again and again to get on eBay, but was prevented each time by a Wireless connexn crawling @ 3-7 Kbps. This continued for 2 weeks. Today is the FIRST day I have been able to get a decent connxn.
5) During the last 2 weeks I had to go back to hospital for surgery on my knee and a bowel blockage.
6) Last Friday, home again, I did manage to get a brief message off to eBay advising my intention to pay within 24 hours. This was not possible owing, yet again, to the lousy BB connxn we are saddled with.
7) Today I went to pay t he remaining 4 items but was uanble to, even though these 2 sellers had already received immediate payment from me for the other items.
Sorry for the length of my message. Suffice to say I am deeply concerned to having let 2 Sellers down and been advised by eBay that I have 4 unpaid items now listed against me. I care VERY much about this matter and can find NO way of replying to eBay other than this forum.
