I have been keeping tabs when an item is sold and the date and time, checking when Promoted Items sign shows on my sales. I am suggesting for others to do same. If a product is sold on a Promoted Listing, why does it not show immediately like it does on most, but later on appears. I have been noting the time and date when the sale has first gone thru, and a day later the promoted item appears. MMmmmmm I have a question as to why. Do others? Have you watched?

Hi, recently my Case 5355864104 was closed because an item was not received and the seller could not promise when it might arrive. I was refunded AU $105.80/ US $64.90 into my bank account on 15th April 2025. This morning I was surprised to receive the Aquascutum jacket parcel in the post. I want to keep it but obviously I will need to pay the Seller again. I contacted the seller to let him know of the situation and he has asked if I have PayPal. Please advise how I do this as I'm not sure if I have a PayPal account. If I don't have an account how do I get one or is there some way I can pay with my Visa card? Alexandra Auterson

I have had charges placed on my credit card and I have not used my account for 3 months. I have an order number but I cannot find a contact number to obtain the details of the order or how this has happened. The exact same issue happened before with Pay Pal. The automated chat does not understand the issue and is of no use. The Bank can only give me the E Bay order number Who are you supposed to contact????

Hi There, I had an issue with connecting a bank account to my Ebay account and I could not do so. so I asked helpdesk which could not help and gave me wrong info anyway. I was informed that i will be charge $2.00 for this service which is refundable. Now I see a charge of $68.00 on my credit card. Could you please advise what is this for and when it will be refunded. I can only add credit card info under Account > Payment. The first is credit card number, expiry date, security code but no payout bank account information. What can i do next?

Hi, so I originally set up my eBay account in England but I now live in Australia so have changed settings to Australia and want to sell but eBay won’t allow me to set up payment with card or PayPal and telling me to go back to UK settings. Anything I can do or should I just set up a new eBay from here In Australia

Can I use a bank transaction account as my payment preference when selling? I haven't sold for a few years and used to use a linked PayPal account but apparently this is not an option now. Some online information says a bank savings account can't be used and some say it has to be a "checking" account. Do you have to open a bank account with a cheque facility?

I am not getting my confirmation SMS text when updating payment details. I have tried several times to enter payment bank details but I do not get the confirmation SMS text to confirm it. This is ridiculously frustrating. My mobile is registered and confirmed, with the Australian prefix. The on-screen instructions though do no carry the Australian prefix so am wondering if the system is flawed and only sending to US numbers. Can anyone help?
