Hi everyone! ๐
I've been using the new ebay / AP XS Satchel since the beginning of the month as they have a 50% off postage cost until 30th May.
I've used them successfully up until today - but now when trying to print labels - they are showing the full price ($8.55).
I was wondering if anyone else who has been using the satchels successfully with the discount is having problems getting the 50% off now? I spoke with an ebay live chat agent and they seemed to know nothing about the issue and said the promotion for 50% off does go until the end of May.
Have gotten another person I know to try printing one on their account but they also aren't getting the 50% off.
Trying to gauge whether it is an individual problem or everyone who uses them is experiencing the issue?
Thanks in advance!

What action do you suggest?
Ebay's playground - their rules.
Love it or hate it - it's just the way it is.

Click on the link provided by twyngwyn above, that pretty much sums up what has happened with this promotion.

This is the response I got when asking to speak to a supervisor today:

I really need to start taking screen shots of offers I receive although I am sure this one would have mentioned ebay reserves the the right to end it early.

Definitely take screenshots, I've learnt the hard way to always do that now.
But with this promotion, I couldn't find any terms and conditions to refer to, so they can't just say that clause applies.

More than likely they were hemorrhaging cash on this promotion due to it's popularity and couldn't carry another 10 days of subsidising postage.
At the end of day it was sellers who were benefiting more than eBay, and the word got out about the XS satchel, which is what the promotion was all about.

22. eBay reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to vary these terms and conditions, or to cancel or change the offer at any time. eBay will only vary these terms and conditions, or cancel or change the offer where it determines, acting reasonably, that it is necessary to do so to prevent fraud, misuse or abuse of the offer, to correct any error or mistake, or where it is necessary to do so to protect eBayโs legitimate interests. Unless it is necessary to update these terms and conditions to correct a mistake or error, or to urgently cancel or change the offer such as in the case of fraudulent activity, eBay will provide 48 hoursโ notice (โNotice Periodโ) by publishing revised terms on the Site.

Thanks curraone, could you provide the link to this clause?

โMy issue is that when this banner was up before ebay took it down around the 21st, clicking on the "Learn more" link led nowhere.
There was nothing more to learn, no Terms & Conditions to refer to, and therefore, nothing to indicate that they might end the promotion early.

What an absolutely disgraceful thing to happen.
I view this as unethical at the very least.
