I printed out one this morning and it looks totally different (and worse) than last week.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi
I printed some this morning ......the next Govt issue will be glasses for the posties

I reckon it won't be long before the font size is enlarged.
It creates health and safety issues for workers and contractors
...as well as a demonstration of worst practice in relation to employees and customers with a visual impairment

I always print out the name and address and put this on the satchel so they can read it.

What is wrong with them ?????? AP is truly on another page, in another realm
It has to be about responsibility and compensation. Not safe-dropping a parcel means it's supposed to stay in AP's possession until handed over to someone at the address or with the card, which puts a distinct thorn in the side of their reasoning for refusal of compensation in non-signature but tracked services (the one about not being able to be sure what happened to a parcel - in other words that it was their fault - unless signature on delivery was paid for, but never gained).
I have no polite words to convey how unimpressed I am with AP at the moment, but I will be asking my local PO is Do Not Safe Drop stickers are still available tomorrow.

With those barcodes that are scanned but come up with no related 'service/item', check your barcode. The very last line is missing and the number below it is half missing. Thus the faulty scan. Had some yesterday and a lot today.

I wonder if this is what happened to mine, the system refused to accept it.
So is it obvious when you print them that something is wrong?

I took 2 packages to the PO today that I prepared with C&S:
1 - Flat rate Bx1 with Signature on Delivery, paid online - Scanned OK
2 - Own packaging pay-by-weight with Signature on Delivery, paying at PO - Would NOT scan
Had this exact same problem last time.

I always print out the name and address and put this on the satchel so they can read it.
I thought the old labels had the lettering too small and therefore also write the address on the box with texta. But of course, the postie has to deliver to the address on the label not something else written on the parcel, so they do actually have to be able to read the label. :_|

wheres-me-jumper - just love that ID, makes me smile every time I see it :^O
..... sorry, back on topic
Everything I can squish into my new beaut large letter cartons purchased from a great ebay seller 100 NEW Mailing Box 310x220x16mm Rigid Envelope Mailer will be going that way.
Works out pretty reasonable for items under 170g - package weighs about 80g - I send as large letter under 250g $1.80 plus reg post label which I bulk buy 🙂 - so work out to be about $5 to send.
Due to rigid sides, I have found that I can also mail garments that were not so easily flattened to send in large registered post envelope with other types of packaging.

Thanks thecatspjs 🙂
I also just went and bought some of those mailers, they look pretty handy.
And today I took 2 packages to the post office, both prepared with C&S and both with SOD specified and both using my own packaging.
Well, one of them scanned in OK with SOD.. and the other wasn't recognised and needed an extra label. So I give up with this stupid system, and I think my PO does too 😞
